Levy Thamba, a 19-year-old student at Northwest College in Powell, Wyo., who was also known as Levi Thamba Pongi, fell to his death last month from the balcony of a Holiday Inn in northeast Denver. On Wednesday, the Denver coroner said Thamba's death was caused by "multiple injuries due to a fall from height."

The percentage of drunks that fall is way higher. In my town there was a drunk college student who fell off the balcony of a frat house and died this year.

Nobody chimed in about outlawing beer here for some reason though.

All people care about around here is the only idiot who fell after eating a pot cookie.

I know where you're going with this so at the risk of my being banned, I'm going to state something very bluntly that a homosexual once said years ago in a similar discussion. He said homosexual sodomy is not only perfectly normal but intended by God. Why? Because (a) the "parts" can more or less be made to fit together and (b) the action of Tab A in Slot B stimulates a certain male reproductive gland located near the terminal end of the digestive tract. This, claimed the homosexual, afforded receptive sodomites a pleasant sensation. That pleasure gave him all the proof he needed that sodomy is natural, thus must have been created by God...thus God intended for him to be sodomized.

You're about to make essentially the same point but your logic - if it can even be called that - is as blind, twisted and literally stupid as his was.

Prohibition didn't work. We already know this. Surely some creative minds can come up with solutions to reducing a nation's consumption of alcohol or drugs without resorting to prohibitive statutes? It isn't only the law that should concern itself with the welfare of citizens, it is also the schools, the colleges, the employers, the doctors and of course parents. For example a zero tolerance policy in colleges and universities would hit the most popular arena where drugs are sold.
