So for a couple weeks I've been looking for a place where I might potentially find intelligent conversations with intelligent people. I landed here... My timing might be a little off, though. I'm a student (architecture) and finals are coming up. Hopefully in the next few weeks I'll have somewhat of a presence on here and this won't be my one and only post...

Bad dispensational jokes aside... tell us a little about yourself? Where do you stand? Dispensationalist? Calvinist? Preterist? Hollow-earther? Flying Spaghetti Monster? Jedi?

What are your views on the eschatological implications of hyper-dispensational theonomy in light of the Petrine-Pauline dichotomy?

Did you vote for a perverted, anti-free-speech, pro-gay, socialist baby killer for president?

And what is your favorite flavor of ice cream?

Haha! Well after Google-ing "dispensationalism," I'm not sure that fully embodies my stance on theology. I believe I fit more into the Jedi category.

But it sounds like you might be fascinated with the end times... I too suppose the eschatological implications of hyper-dispensational theonomy in light of the Petrine-Pauline dichotomy to be intriguing. Although I'm not particularly educated in this field... Maybe you could enlighten me on your findings? Opinions?

And nothing beats a bowl of vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup, stirred to the consistency of a milk shake. I think I'll have some.

Trust me, being a little off in any particular not only isn't a bar to major success here, it can actually work to your advantage.

What you want to build, Architect?

You know, I get that question a lot and rarely know how to answer it... Ultimately I just want to create good architecture. So many buildings now are just cookie-cutter, pre-fab structures with no meaning. No order. I'm just sick of banks with red brick and Greek temple fronts. I'm sick of churches that are large boxes with basketball goals at each end. I'm sick of suburbia, with its rows of identical houses and .00001 acre lawns. I'm most interested in designing public buildings, but I won't be picky. After school I plan on joining a firm, preferably in a large city. But we'll see how the economy is doing... Might be better for me to just go back to school...
