Nagging Theology Question

Hello -

I have a question that's been nagging me for years. I'm a writer now, but back in my years at Marquette University, a theology professor mentioned a word that meant, roughly, seeing God in earthly things. For him, he said, it was in the face of a snow leopard.

What's this concept, or word? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Many thanks!

It may sound Hindu, Totten, but there is a definite mystical dimension to Christianity. That stems from teh biblical emphasis on God's omnipresence.
