We read in Daniel's prophecy that Messiah will be cut off after 69 weeks, which is exactly what happened.

We then read about the seventieth week during which the antichrist will reveal himself. These seventy weeks are for Israel, not the church, and the seventieth week is still on hold while God calls out a people from among all nations, including Gentiles.
