So you keep all of the law except the ceremonial?

You are a liar, so you don't keep the non-ceremonial law.

The new covenant is between God and Israel, just like the Bible says (Jer 31, Heb 8).

Jesus taught the commandments that had to be kept to be saved.

What is so hard for you?

Jesus' commands are light and easy and and not burdensome.

They are called foolish because they were talked into doing the purification works of the law.

They were met by judazisers.

The purification works were how the Jews used to clean and justify themselves, but now Jesus does those things by just believing he does.

That does not mean you don't have to obey Jesus' teachings.

It means you don't have to get circumcised and observe special days.

There are only two choice.....

Received you the Spirit by the works of the law OR by the HEARING OF FAITH. Gal. 3:2

You don't get to add some other choice of your own.

Matt. 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Are you kidding? You think Jesus was being sarcastic? Jesus just got through telling the people what to do and not to do and calls it being perfect. How do you ever get that it is too hard or impossible?

Huh? What? People did not receive the Spirit by the works of the law. People didn't receive just by faith either. You are badly mistaken.

Are you seriously claiming YOU can BE PERFECT AS YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN IS PERFECT?

The purpose of the law and the reason Jesus said what he did there, was so you would realize you could never be as perfect as God. The purpose was for YOU to see you fall short and are GUILTY. Romans 3:19

You keep thinking you can be made perfect by your obeying, when the Bible clearly teaches we are justified by FAITH. You are still under the schoolmaster. :nono:

Gal. 3:3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

Gal. 3:24-25 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

Faith alone is dead. That is what James says.
What can something dead do?

That's because James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting, of which you, gt were/are one.

Amazing to know that you are a member of one of the twelve tribes scattered abroad.
Out of which scattered abroad tribe do you, gt, come from?

So it is dead to Jews but life for Gentiles? That is insanity.

So Jesus is just being sarcastic? You need to think again.

The purpose of the law and the reason Jesus said what he did there, was so you would realize you could never be as perfect as God.

That is too creepy to laugh about. No, Jesus wasn't being sarcastic or ironic or whatever you falsely claim. Jesus was telling us what to do, and Paul confirmed it by telling us to work at it and train ourselves with it.
There is no scripture that says what you said about Jesus. It is a made up belief from the imagination.
The purpose was for YOU to see you fall short and are GUILTY. Romans 3:19

You keep thinking you can be made perfect by your obeying, when the Bible clearly teaches we are justified by FAITH. You are still under the schoolmaster. :nono:
Jesus' words are not a no no. Jesus' words are life. He is the Way and you have to do what the Way says to do. Get it through your head. Staring at a map and saying yep that is how to get from here to there will not get you there. Shoot, you don't even think the map is legitimate anymore.

You think there is another Way, which means Paul cursed himself for eternal fire.

That is about not getting circumcised---Not doing the ceremonial works. Galatians 5:2 Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all.

I speak the words of God and I just know it has to be convicting you.
