Liberals have it made in the 2016 election

These kind of adjectives concern me when used in the context of picking someone that is considered to hold the most powerful position in the world (if you're voting based on appearance, the election is going to be held Wednesday November 9th this year).

I don't care what they look like. I'm picking who I think stands the best chance in the general election against the dems.

Seriously gd, educate yourself on the candidates. When I look at a candidates values, I think about what God's standard for sexual morality is (if they don't acknowledge one man, one woman, united in marriage as the only standard, then what makes you think that candidate can get other moral issues right?).

The young, cute, sweet guy is wrong on that and many other issues.

I didn't say I'd vote for him because he was young and cute and sweet. But more people are apt to vote for him because he's not a shifty eyed rodent. :chuckle: I'm talking about the majority of people who will be voting. I honestly don't think any truly moral and upright candidate can get elected ....we are no longer the moral majority. Not even close.

Hillary has it in the bag.

I live in the land of libs and they're voting for Bernie. After all the yapping about no more "old white men", they are going Bambi on Bernie. Sadly, most of them don't even think socialism is a bad thing. They want the government to be their nanny.

I was just looking into what date the WA State Republican Party precinct caucus is being held. It sounds like an educational experience, as well as actually having a say on who we nominate for POTUS; you should look into your state (Oregon?).

Quite possibly. The McCain/Palin ticket in '08 was so lame that it made Obama look good by comparison. (The fact that it was preceded by 8 years of Pres. George Waldo Bush didn't help either).

In an even more blatant manner, the current crop of Republican candidates generally seem like they are out to make Helliry look good for November of this year.

I found the video interesting, how can anyone trust a man who has flip flopped on so much?

Is he really in this to make the republicans look stupid and they all liked him?

I honestly don't think Trump has thought much about politics or his positions on many issues in the past. But he does listen to advisers before he makes his decisions, and I think he wants America to be great again. The other two want socialism...that's much worse than anything Trump might have in mind. IMO

I believe you are fooling yourself GD, Trump thinks about politics all the time, and how he can game it for a business advantage. Saying you want to "Make America Great Again" makes for a great platitude but, some of his positions as he lays them out are quite progressive liberal, for example his stance on ethanol and the subsidy of it...very liberal or just pandering, his recent comments on federal lands going back to the states and how he believes the feds need to keep the land :nono: Trump is either completely constitutionally ignorant or is a total progressive and the more he speaks the more I believe it is the latter. Trump wants to be a dealmaker with the establishment and really, that is a deal breaker, I want him to defy the establishment, destroy them & their stranglehold of big government on the citizenry...how about no deals at all, Trump is a wild card for sure and nobody knows where his loyalties lie at this point, which is really scary, I will vote for him if he is the nominee but, I will not be giving him a vote in the primary if Cruz is still in it.

If by "liberals", you mean "people who don't conform to Knight's definition of anything else"...

It means those that conform to an ideology that is inconsistent with this nation's constitution, such as the ideology that the American left subscribes to.
