Is "Pizzagate" a "fake news" nutty conspiracy or revelation of a child abuse ring?
Introduction
The NYT and Washington Post have come out and condemned "Pizzagate" as a nutty conspiracy and witch-hunt, alleging pedophilia and occult rituals amongst elite groups in Washington DC. It has been labelled "fake news".
Reddit deleted and banned the whole large thread about it.

At first hearing it sounds too awful and bizarre to be true. It is tempting to take these sentinels of journalistic integrity at their word and avoid the unsavoury topic thereafter.
If you haven't heard about "Pizzagate" it concerns allegations that have arisen from Wikileaks of Hillary Clinton's campaign manager, John Podesta's emails to and from his associates. These emails concern a pizzeria in downtown Washington DC called "Comet Ping Pong". A nearby pizzeria "Besta Pizza" has been allegedly linked as well.
On quick glance the emails sound like a group of politically elite people salivating over fast food pizzeria style - pizzas, cheese, hotdogs in particular. So are the conspiracy theorists just drawing ridiculous conclusions from discussions of food? Reading the NYT and WaPo you would think so.
However, the actual wording of the emails make less and less contextual and grammatical sense, the more of them you read. Allegedly these words are part of a code used by pedophile rings. That would need a lot of checking as most people including me have no idea what codes pedophile groups communicate in. But adding fuel to the fire, a declassified FBI document lists images and logos that are code for sex with boys and girls that are used by pedophile groups. There is a striking similarity between these FBI logos and logos that adorn the two pizzerias.
Furthermore the Comet Ping Pong pizzeria itself and the instagram accounts of those sending and receiving the Podesta emails are replete with photos of bizarre creepy sadomasochistic art often involving children. There are also extremely disturbing photos of young children and even babies. One of the Podesta emails talks of 3 young children "aged 11, 9 and almost 7" who will join the guests "for your entertainment" in a heated pool at an upcoming party.
When you see enough of this stuff you literally cry and want to reach for a vomit bowl. There is a weird photo of John Podesta with symbols drawn on his hands. There is a leaked video of a private party from the basement of Comet Ping Pong pizzeria that is macabre where the guests allude to sexual "preferences" for "little boys".
British Establishment Paedophile Scandal
The conspiracy theory is made more credible by it having become conspiracy fact in the United Kingdom already. In the UK there's been a mainstream expose of past (but not current) pedophile rings of the British establishment involving members of parliament including some of Margaret Thatcher's cabinet ministers, former prime minister Edward Heath, and the second in charge of Britain's spy agency MI-6 and of course two children's BBC media personalities (both knighted by the Queen): Jimmy Saville (after his death) and Rolf Harris (sent to jail in old age).

For those who don't know, Jeffrey Epstein is a billionaire convicted and jailed for sex crimes, who took the rich and famous on his private jet, nicknamed the "Lolita Express", which had a large bed and young models, to his resort island of Little St James in the Caribbean that was nicknamed "Orgy Island". He was convicted on evidence that included providing underage girls for sex and holding women against their will on the island.

The "Pizzagate" story
The Washington DC story suggests similar pedophile rings at or near the highest levels of US power.
One can dismiss this, deny this, turn one's face away. Or you can hear the cries of innocent children and spread the word. If you don't believe it, and think it is just discussions about food and an odd taste in art then perhaps you have a duty to prove that to yourself before dismissing this as "nutty conspiracy". I hoped I could dismiss the story, but for me I ended up crying out to God to save innocent children and wake up this world!
