No pictures but a photoshopped? I wonder why...

If you'd have bothered to read the article (or the scientific journal link provided), then you would've seen this image showing (from left to right) a normal chicken skull, a modified chicken skull, and an alligator skull.

Here it is: http://ichef.bbci.co.uk/wwfeatures/wm/live/624_351/images/live/p0/2r/88/p02r8858.jpg

Here is a picture of the fossil specimen from China, also on the provided article link: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/...d-dragon-fossil/02-mud-dragon.adapt.768.1.jpg

They've also grown teeth in chickens and elongated the tail by switching certain genes "on"

Yep, bothered. Nope, still no help. diagrams/artist renderings aren't photos?

Thanks for trying Greg. Appreciate that much, though.

These aren't diagrams, buddy. I'll post them yet again.

Pictures of the skulls (left to right) of a normal chicken embryo, one that has been genetically modified to produce s dinosaur-like snout, and then an alligator embryo. That's not a rendering, Lon. That's real

Picture of the winged dinosaur found in China, also not a rendering:

Note how these sources are credible and not bs

Genetically modified organisms (that aren't crops) are rarely given the legal opportunity to grow to the point that they could be born. It's considered risky and some people question the morality of it. So seeing a picture of anything beyond the embryonic stage would likely have to come from a DIY lab

Another video about how chickens can be modified by renowned Paleontologist Jack Horner: http://www.ted.com/talks/jack_horner_building_a_dinosaur_from_a_chicken?language=en

We could look for similarities between birds and baboons, or dogs and cats... We could make an extensive list. However, similarities does not mean there is common ancestry. We do however have a common Designer.

Fair. But aren't you always the one saying, "it's not about the messenger, it's the message"?
He was simply supplementary material. I provided the actual paper on the OP

Or we can look at the transitional fossils of dinosaurs to raptors to feathered raptors to small winged dinosaurs to archaeopteryx-like animals to birds.

THEN we can use what we know about the similarities between birds and dinosaurs, like: their identical hip structure, presence of feathers, the fact that we can turn on parts of genes that grow teeth in chickens, their highly similar nasal passage structure (important for vocal communication), and so on....

And any idiot can see that there may just be some kind of relationship here

You overstate the case. Some scientists CLAIMED that.
From the article in Nature, one of the scientists involved says "Looking at these animals externally, you would still think it's a beak. But if you saw the skeleton, you'd just be very confused," he says. "I would not say we gave birds snouts."

That is true. It was unintentional.

No. BUT try to follow the conversation. Apples/oranges...know why?
There is a photograph of Charles Darwin on the cover of my copy of Origin of Species.

Why is there no photograph of the Judeo-christian god on the cover of the Judeo-christian scriptures?

Or indeed any photograph of it anywhere?
