There are millions who think that it’s better that a tree would live or an animal would live than that an unborn child would be born. Millions. There are millions who believe that. Why is that? Because trees were not made in God’s image. And you could worship a tree and it doesn’t make any demands on your life. But the true God who made the tree and made us in His image and likeness, He has demands on our lives and He put His law in our heart, our conscience, so that we would know that yes we are sinners, yes we’ve hurt ourselves, we’ve hurt others, and we’ve even hurt God. But you know what? He loves us. He left a record of coming to earth so that we could live forever if only we would humble ourselves and trust in Him.
