It appears to be a race between these 4 for next president

Who will you vote for and why? Who will win and why?

What policies will these individuals seek to implement and how will these policies help or hurt you or the United States or even the world as a whole? Who will the eventual nominees choose as running mates?

Share any opinions or news that you feel will impact the election.

TOL'ers come in many political flavors, why not open up the thread to Libertarians:

communists:

and anyone that wants to promote their candidate and political party.

It's gonna be Trump-Clinton, the two parties are just gonna merge and then there'll only be one choice.

It'll be easier that way.

Many are salivating at the thought of Cruz-Clinton debates. Who wants to see "The Donald" go on yet another one of his roll on the floor toddler tantrums?

America has seen more than enough of that already.

Only they haven't, because he hasn't actually done that.

You forgot one name: Rubio. I think Rubio stands a real chance if enough of his fellows drop out.

I'm voting for Sanders, in the hopes that he'll make good on his intentions to take on the banks that nearly destroyed the economy, and have adopted an attitude of impunity since the financial crisis. I think he's going to have a harder time winning against Clinton in the primaries than any of the GOP candidates in the general. I really don't think Cruz or Trump will win. Trump could win the nomination, but I don't see him getting any further. It's hard to see Clinton winning, although if she's up against a weak candidate in the general election, she could.

Cruz and Trump are scary regarding foreign policy. Hilary has no interest for me. Cruz might do some good and $15 min. wage won't hurt and might help some people. His tax on Wall St. transactions I think is a good idea. He's the one most likely to slash military spending besides Paul. I think we could learn something from the Nordic Model - like Social Democracy (Socialism European Style) ain't a bad thing, in fact, seems good for family life.

It sounds like you don't follow politics at all Krsto.

Ted Cruz will build a strong relationship with Israel, something B. Hussein Obama has destroyed. He'll take seriously the muzzie threat not only in the Middle East, but here in the United States (but unlike Trump, he's NOT going to deport American citizens just because they're Muslim).

Cruz wouldn't play dictator like B. Hussein Obama has and would stay out of the free market and let the employer decide what his employees are worth paying.

Cruz, while getting rid of a bunch of bureaucratic baggage that the federal government has (Dept. of Education, IRS), would strengthen the military, which means overriding B. Hussein Obama allowing openly sexually deviant people to serve.

Being that Ted Cruz is a constitutional scholar and will model his Presidency after that, by no means would he ever want to legislate "Socialism, European style".
