  • Should Christians support the death penalty? Yes
  • Are we supposed to automatically forgive everyone who wrongs us? Only in that we should not seek vengeance for ourselves.
  • Are all sins equal? No
  • Is there time in heaven? Yes

  • Is it wrong to call anyone a fool? No

  • How should we use the 10 commandments today as Christians? To learn form, and show that we need God.
  • Should pornography be legal? No
  • Should we rebuke religious and government leaders? Yes
  • Should we, as Christians, judge? Yes
  • Should we support equal rights for homosexuals? I like delmar's answer.:chuckle:
  • Is evolution true? No
  • Should we, as Christians, keep the Old Testament laws? Only the ones it's expedient to follow

  • Should Christians support the death penalty? Yes, in appropriate situations. The death penalty is not appropriate for every crime. For some, it is the only way justice can be administered.
  • Are we supposed to automatically forgive everyone who wrongs us? No.
  • Are all sins equal? No.
  • Is there time in heaven? Yes
  • Is the earth billions of years old? I'm still thinking on that one.
  • Is it wrong to call anyone a fool? In certain situations, it's wrong not to.
  • Does God have a plan for you that would manage all the details of your life? No
  • Does the Bible say to hate the sin and love the sinner? No
  • How should we use the 10 commandments today as Christians? Reference material. And as an aid to show others that they need God's righteousness because they cannot achieve righteousness by human works.
  • Should pornography be legal? No
  • Should we rebuke religious and government leaders? When appropriate, yes
  • Should we, as Christians, judge? Yes, if it is not being hypocritical
  • Should we support equal rights for homosexuals? No, nor should we support special rights.
  • Is evolution true? I believe that natural selection occurs. I believe that God created all life; that it did not arise spontaneously from non-life.
  • Should we, as Christians, keep the Old Testament laws? We are not under the Law. We should behave decently, but not because of the OT Law.
  • Should the government legislate and enforce God's Law? They should implement the criminal justice aspect, as it is superior the systems in place now.
  • Does God change in any way? He became flesh. He wasn't always flesh, was He? He also died and arose from the dead--whoa, BIG change. He changes His rules for mankind--different rules for different dispensations. He makes conditional promises, such as the promise of salvation if one accepts Christ as Savior

Isn't the last one part of an argument that concludes that God is not perfect? I believe so. Perfection does not allow change.

In the case of perfectly stupid, this is true.

So, your god is not perfect, then?

No. He is. A part of perfection would be the ability to respond perfectly to external events, or to change to achieve one's will. If an entity were not able to respond appropriately, it would be imperfect.

Hence, the perfectly stupid. If they cannot change in any way, they remain perfectly stupid.

If the time displayed on my digital alarm clock were to be perfect, it would have to change every 60 seconds.

Do me a favor. Find me a fundamentalist who has never changed their mind about an interpretation of scripture. I'd like to meet the creature. Maybe it exists.

No, thank you. Luckily we are very short of fundamentalists in the UK. And with man's blessing we may stay that while for a long, long time.

Please name ten crimes for which the death penalty is inappropriate, and why.

How does one know if an apology is sincere?
