I just checked, and the nearest one to me is in AZ. I guess that's why I've never had one. :chuckle:

Sounds good. Hold the mayo.
Never liked the stuff. And here's how good the burger was: I didn't put ketchup or mustard on it. Only the aged white cheddar and caramelized onions it came with (lettuce and tomato on the side if you like) on a pretzel bun. I've never eaten a hamburger where it felt like adding to the mix would be the wrong thing to do.

Yes, it was that good.

I can enjoy anything as long as it is healthy food. Not too many places serve with wholegrain buns.

Because I can enjoy anything, I pick inexpensive place to eat:)

I love apple pie. What does common room mean over there?

And looking at the time, it's almost 3:50 pm here now. :)

It's the room we have in the school for the teachers to relax and socialise when not in class. Faculty lounge, perhaps, in Ameringlish?

I'm just off there now for a morning cup of tea to get me through the Saturday morning teaching. It's open day too, so I've got to be on best behaviour for prospective parents. :juggle:

That's what they want you to think it means. But really, it's the place where the commoners hang out. :plain:

Yes, faculty lounge here. Thanks for the context. Have a good day, and behave yourself. :chuckle:

I've never eaten at Whataburger.

I grew up around them and never have either. Now they're hard to find around here. There's one in Foley. I keep meaning to try one.

The best burger you can get anywhere around here is at Gulf Shores in a place called The Beach House. Amazingly good. And it's not ridiculously priced.

Thinking about it makes me wish I was there.

I used to eat at Whataburger in Pensacola when I was stationed there in 68' - 69'.

I remember the guy from California sayin', "Let's go get a Waterburger!", my first time. I remember thinkin', "What th' heck is Waterburger?" :noid:

Good morning everyone. :)

It's a lovely morning, it's been raining off and on and it's about 30 degrees cooler than a few days ago. So nice.

Also I've been kitty-sitting, and he's absolutely adorable. :cloud9: He likes to lay next to my keyboard and watch me type.

(He must've known I was talking about him, he just plopped himself across my hands... :chuckle:)
