Can you spell it from scripture either why people believe this that God became flesh or else show in scripture where it says that He did?

I do not believe that He did.

Thank you.

I'm surprised...you being a Jew and all...that you don't know the meaning of the word Emmanuel.

It means God with us.

This is talking about Jesus/The Word/The Creator who came and dwelt among us.

Matthew 1:23
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

I have thought about the word or name Emmanuel. It does mean God with us. Is Jesus the expression of God especially in that He never sinned? In Him do we see the glory of God?

Yes, Jesus is the visible of the invisible God. God became flesh so we could SEE HIM.

We see the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Man cannot behold the full glory of God, so He took on human flesh. When we look at Jesus, we see God.

2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Absolutely, and the day I saw that is the day I got saved.

That God would come down to earth, Himself, absolutely blew me away.

To suffer and die on the cross, no less.

So do you believe that God died on the cross or Jesus died on the cross or both?

You can't separate God from Jesus, Jacob.

Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

When God took on human flesh, it included blood and everything else any human being has.

Okay. Interesting. Here however, see the Lord Jesus verse 24.

I am not attempting to separate God from Jesus. I do know that He is a man, and if there are different ways to say that He is God, okay. Now the details of this if true must be ironed out. Every thought matters, the truth of each and every thought of each one of us. In other words, can you make Him more God, even than He is if He is.
