I'm sure you can defeat diabetes doing vegetarian keto. It will just take a little longer than carnivore. The key is keeping your carbs below 20 grams per day.
I under stand that. I've already added a lot of nuts to my diet and removed root based vegetables as they store their carbs in their roots. It will take me a little while to switch over completely but I've already started the process.
