Would you not agree that politicians do these things because after being elected their constituents sit back silently not demanding that those promises be kept?

Perhaps part of the problem is that when you get elected you need to govern on behalf of everyone, not just the people you kissed up to in order to get the nomination.

A true conservative would govern on the behalf of everyone, as conservative doctrine comes from the Bible and of course the Bible was written for the good of all of mankind. We've seen what the lying baby murdering sodomite B. Hussein Obama did after pretending to be a moderate in the first election: He kowtowed to special interest groups (Planned Parenthood/NARAL, LGBTQueer organizations) and disregarded people of faith.

A true conservative would govern on the behalf of everyone, as conservative doctrine comes from the Bible and of course the Bible was written for the good of all of mankind. Well, for the good of all mankind as long as you believed in the Hebrew god, otherwise you were liable to be toast.

And of course, fundamentalist Christian groups or the Israeli lobby are not special interest groups.
