Now that trumpcare is dead several Republican and Democrat senators have expressed their desire for a bipartisan approach. There is very little common ground between democrats and republicans regarding the future of health Care which makes it difficult to pass an agreement in the first place. But abortion funding which almost sank obamacare passage among democrats, would absolutely assure that an bipartisan agreement could not be reached. The left has moved so far left on the issue that they will 100% submit an amendment thant funds abortion with federal dollars, making it impossible for the most liberal pro life Republican to vote for such a bill.
