If you KNOW something has some form of unacceptable meaning, then, why use it? That's on you, pal.
Nothing that was derogatory before is no longer.

Abortion is no longer derogatory.
Fags are no longer derogatory.
Adultery is no longer derogatory.

The Acts phrase That Way, was originally a derogatory.

As was the word "Christian."

As was the phrase "the Grace Movement."

As was...

O never mind :chuckle:

Back in the seventies my wife and I were driving through a black neighborhood in the town I'm from and there was one of those statues in a yard repainted white.

We cackled!

When I see andyc making claims here, I'm reminded of this:
View attachment 24661

Wash your sins away before it is too late.

Act 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Act 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Act 2:40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
Act 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Yeah, you're giving us one.

I ask your forgiveness for that. It is not my intention to give anyone a headache. Usually I endure two or three days when they come. I have had headaches (which supposedly are not migraine) lasting for a month, which is MADdening.

And still you will not be able to prove either way, for it is a NONessential.

"You...your children...those who are far off". It 's the same gospel for all of those. And 'saved' in 41 always means what saved means here: justified from sins, not members of a new theocracy in Judea movement.
