ECT PROTESTANT REFORMERS HAD NO LEGITIMATE MISSION FROM GOD TO REFORM THE CHURCH

What are the gates of hell?

Satan and his angels are not in hell, at the moment.

The gates of hell are the strongholds of evil in this world that Satan currently rules (notice Jesus didn't contradict the tempter when offered the worldly kingdoms). Matthew 16:18 is meant to be a call to arms for the Church--emboldening us to claim the devil's earthly territory for the sake of the gospel.

At least, that's how I read it. As with anything theological, YMMV.

1 Timothy 4:1
Sounds remarkably like the phenomenon of Protestantism itself---50,000+ competing and contradictory entirely non-authoritative recently-invented, man-made non-Catholic sects to date---including yours---with more being fabricated every week. Should give you serious pause, friend.

Would that be like Maryology and Purgatory?

No, that would be like sola scriptura, sola fide, anti-sacramentalism, etc.---that is, the monumental error of Protestantism itself.

Back to Post #64.

So you claim Maryology and Purgatory to be Biblical? Show scripture for their veracity.

Addressed here and here.

Now it's your turn to give biblical proof for the 16th-century Protestant fabrication of sola scriptura. Don't bother trying to appeal to 2 Tim. 3:16-17, since it has already been categorically refuted as a proof-text here and here. What else you got?

You have shown nothing except here and here. I'm not going to your website. Where is the scripture?

When Israel acted up, God sent the Babylonians and Assyrians to "hew down the tree" and kill it with fire. I suppose you will tell me that wasn't ordained by God's hand, as well, since it didn't come from an "authorized" source.

When those who are meant to be his arms don't act right, God gets a little more creative.

Yet, Luther went beyond mere moral reforms in presuming to "reform" the established formal DOCTRINES of Christ's Church, and it was then that he entered into theological error to the point of categorical heresy.

The poor guy only wanted, Justification By Faith (given through the grace of God, and not based on our own merits or choices).

Is that so much to ask????

(sarcasm...not whining)

The writer of the OP: Saju Davis, via FACEBOOK (3-14-2015). Is this the latest infallible teacher? Am I reading this correctly?
Of course not. Where in the world does it say anything whatsoever about the author of the OP being "infallible"?

The Catholic Church has always believed and taught justification by faith. What Luther insisted on was his entirely invented notion of "justification by faith ALONE." Big difference there, and one which is glaringly spelled out in the New Testament.

The Catholics can't even keep the correct Canon of OT. Only the Jews and Protestants are keeping the correct OT Canon.

That's the way how God authenticated the Protestants.
