By frozen do you mean "bought frozen at the supermarket" or "I cooked something myself and froze the leftovers"?
With actual ingredients? Sorry Chrys, but I just don't see you much as a "cook an actual meal" kind of guy. I see you more as a "honey, the game is about to start. Is my lunch almost ready? Can you bring me another beer" type of guy.
I do start with a pork roast
and
add dried navy beans
and
cook for 16 hours in a crock pot
do you call that cooking?

Well, of course. I cook a lot meals in the crock pot and then FREEZE the left overs, including the gravy. That way the next time I need something in a hurry or am out of gravy, I just go to the freezer.
OTOH, if my son told me he had just cooked a pot roast dinner, I would know he was speaking of a Hungry Man FD.
