The definition of Christ is Messiah, the anointed one with special powers endowed by god to carry out god's orders. It is not a spirit or a body of knowledge. It is a person. Are you confusing that with the Holy Ghost?

A deeper study will show you that it is indeed a name as well as a position. Explore Hebrews 1, express image. No it is not the holy ghost. God created a copy of himself and used it to create the universe.

Your knowledge of Christians is limited to a study of the churches, big mistake on your part as they have been corrupted since the end of the first century.

Good luck on your seeking friend.

It says Christ said "I AM," not that God said it in/through Christ.

Why just listen to what Jesus says about himself which are often in parables and equivalences.

Here is his final place in heaven after his resurrection.

Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.

Note: Jesus was made a little lower than the angels and even though he was crowned with glory and honour, he was never elevated to god.

Doing what the bible says can lead to pedophilia. Ask any Catholic priest.

The problem with that logic is that nowhere in the Bible does it say that a priest should be unmarried. In fact "A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife,"

Are you comparing them to a ventriloquist act. One is the ventriloquist and the other a mindless echo chamber. But together they are one act.

No it is not a ventriloquist act. Jesus submitted to the will of the Father.

The Apostles submitted to Christ and to God through Christ.

Paul submitted to Christ.

Romans 1:1 1 Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God.

James submitted.

James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,

Peter submitted

2 Peter 1:1 Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ,

There is also a hierarchy.

1 Corinthians 11:3 But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man,a and the head of Christ is God.

Achduke,

Please take apart the post I made yesterday, showing the three points made from Scripture by Richard Abanes, which I'll repost below for you. Thanks in advance.

For Achduke:

1. Does the Bible mention three distinct persons?

2. Does the Bible refer to each of these persons as God?

3. Does the Bible teach there is only one God?

The answers:

1. Are three distinct persons mentioned? YES.
A. The Father (1 John 3:1)
B. The Son (1 John 1:3)
C. The Holy Spirit (John 14:6; 14:26; 15:26; 16:13- 14; Romans 15:30; Ephesians 4:30)

2. Are each of these persons referred to as God? YES.
A. God the Father (1 Thessalonians 1:1)
B. God the Son (John 1:1; 20:28; Hebrews 1:8-9)
C. God the Holy Spirit (Acts 5:3-4)

3. Is there only one God? YES.
(see Deuteronomy 4:35-39; Psalm 86:10; Isaiah 45:5; 45:22)

3. A good man (lots of people)

Definitely not. While a man can bleed and die, a strictly human Jesus would be a child of Adam, and so would have inherited Adam's sin nature (as we all have done). But God has always demanded pure, unblemished sacrifices for sin...anything less than perfect is unacceptable.

CONSIDER: To satisfy God's righteous justice, our Savior had to bleed and die in our place, for our sin. Angels don't bleed, so He had to be one of us...He had to be fully human.

To be an acceptable Sacrifice for sin, however, He also had to be sinless. No human is sinless; only God Himself is without sin. So our Savior--in order to be our Savior--had to be as sinless and holy and pure as God Himself.

Therefore, Jesus was--and is--exactly who the Bible says He is: the Son of God, the God-man, almighty God in human flesh. He is the Creator who became part of His own creation to save His lost and dying creatures. He had to be both; were He anything less than fully God and fully human, He would be unable to save us.
The Passover was never a sin offering, and Jesus wouldn't be pure if he were fully god. Thy logic is lame.

For this is my blood of the new testament which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (Matthew 26:28)

What does the remission of sin mean to you?
It was "shed with the remission of sins" rather; fore it says their clothes were whitened in the blood of the ram. (Revelation 7:14)
