Knight. Where's Prisca? :mmph: :D :thumb:
Prisca could be in the Hall no doubt, but since she is my sister and a founding member of TOL I thought I would reserve the Hall for TOL members (not owners and such).

Same with Lion, he would be a first choice selection to the Hall.

Here is the order of the awards I will be handing out in this years Posts of the Year Award Ceremony.

The TOP 50 posts of the year.

(as picked by me)

The Posters of the year awards
One might think this would simply be a duplicate of the posts of the year except given to the poster that made the post and not the post itself. Oh no, it doesn't work that way. The poster of the year is weighted so that folks that have more Posts of the Year will get more points and therefore finish higher than folks that have only one post of the year award. For instance, the person who receives the best post of the year might only have that one post in the award show and therefore he would receive less points than a person who might have had three Posts of the Year. The Posters of the Year takes into account BOTH quality and quantity of posts.

The 2010 TruthSmacker Award
This honorary award will be given to a single person who I think has consistently smacked truth on TOL in the past year.

Hall of Fame Class for 2010
I will send 5 TOL members to the TOL Hall of Fame. The recipient of the 2010 TruthSmacker award will automatically be one of the 5 new Hall of Fame members and the other 4 will be picked at large by me. These 5 new Hall of Fame members will join: Poly, Turbo, bob b, Bob Enyart, Delmar, ghost, godrulz, lucky, chatmaggot, Adambassador, Yorzhik, Granite, Psalmist, Hilston, and ebenz.

I would like to welcome all of you to the 2010 Posts of the Year Awards ceremony. The entire staff at TOL would like to thank everyone who participated on our forums this past year.

But we would like to recognize what we consider to be the best of the best. Therefore each and every year we hold an awards ceremony on New Years Day and announce the winners. And that is what we are about to do right now!

Some have asked... "how can I win a Post of the Year award?" to which we respond... :sozo: make good posts!

Welcome to the show and lets begin!!!

I'm selling refreshments.

(I know that this is a crazy capitalistic pursuit that many will say is evil, but I am doing it nonetheless.

And...I'm not giving any of my profits to the government. :nono:)
