WashPo Admits State Department Official Raised Alarms In 2015

Over Hunter Biden’s Ukraine Business, But Was Ignored | Zero Hedge

A State Department official in charge of Ukraine policy told House investigators this week that in early 2015 he raised concerns with then-VP Joe Biden's office over Hunter Biden's dealings in the country, but was rebuffed and told that the Vice President didn't have the "bandwidth" to deal with the issue as his other son, Beau, was battling cancer.

Not over his "dealings in the country," as if Hunter Biden had committed wrongdoing. See what zerohedge did there?

What Kent said was he had "concerns that Ukrainian officials would view Hunter Biden as a conduit for currying influence with his father."

Kent was (rightfully in my opinion) concerned about optics. Not that Either Biden had committed wrongdoing, it simply looked bad. It still looks bad.

But this story's been trotted out repeatedly as if it had legs when it has none. It's a sad little stump of conspiracy in service of which the president has certainly committed impeachable offenses. If only you were as interested in what Trump has done.

BTW, so predictable that WaPo isn't "fake news" to the right as long as it's what they want to hear... meanwhile, zerohedge?

Over time Zero Hedge expanded into non-financial analysis, advocating what
CNN Business called an anti-establishment and conspiratorial worldview, and which has been associated with alt-right views[9][10]and pro-Russian bias.[11][12][c][13]

The point is that Trump is well aware that Biden would "beat him like a drum", so Trump and Putin's American assets are doing whatever they can to pump this up from "looks bad" to "something bad happened."

The irony is that phone call to make it happen, might be the very thing that removes Trump from office.

And there it is, the other quid pro quo.

Notorious Ukrainian oligarch Dmitry Firtash would help Rudy and DiGenova and Toensing cook up dirt on Joe Biden. In return, they’d work with Trump to get US corruption charges against Firtash tossed. Firtash has been fighting extradition to the US on federal corruption charges since 2014. From Bloomberg …

Associates of a Ukrainian oligarch fighting extradition to the U.S. were working to dig up dirt on former Vice President Joe Biden last summer in an effort to get Rudy Giuliani’s help in the oligarch’s legal case, according to three people familiar with the exchanges.

Dmitry Firtash, charged with conspiracy by the U.S. and living in Vienna, shuffled lawyers in July to add Joe diGenova and Victoria Toensing, vocal supporters of President Donald Trump who had worked with Giuliani. Around that time, some of Firtash’s associates began to use his broad network of Ukraine contacts to get damaging information on Biden

Crazy Uncle Joe was and is too stupid to realize that it looks bad.

And if you really think that the hiring of Hunter was on the up and up then you are as
dumb as Uncle Joe.

So why not just allow the 2020 election to remove him??

I thought so, up to a few weeks ago. But now that credible witnesses and his his own words show that he's trying to get foreign nations to rig our elections, it's time to get every representative and senator to go on record against that kind of interference.

Or for it, as the case might be.

The funny part is, that it was the rabid leftist base that promoted his nomination, because they believed he couldn't win. They broke it, they own it!

You might remember that right after the election, I suggested that Trump might be a better president than his previous life indicated.

I was really, really wrong, but I was hopeful.

You know, though, it's coming to the end of things when conservatives start blaming democrats for Donald Trump. :plain:

Next, you will be saying that Trump is already an unindicted co-conspirator in regard to what was going on in the Ukraine because you stay in a state of delusion and confusion.

We'll see who it really was who was trying to rig the election because the investigation being done now by the Justice Department will prove that it was the Obama administration who was doing that.

But you will refuse to believe the facts which that investigation will uncover.

Can you spell F-I-S-A?

You're a little confused again. I showed you that he was an unindicted co-conspirator in the porn star payoff scandal.

We'll see who it really was who was trying to rig the election

We knew that, when Trump released the telephone call, and it was reinforced when:
White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney admitted to a quid pro quo between President Donald Trump and Ukraine to force an investigation into the Democratic National Committee, telling ABC News’ Jon Karl “We do that all the time.”
https://www.mediaite.com/news/trump...-admits-quid-pro-quo-we-do-that-all-the-time/

because the investigation being done now by the Justice Department will prove that it was the Obama administration who was doing that.

Too late. They've already admitted it.

You originally said that Trump was an unindicted co-conspirator in the Mueller investigation. And you have not given any evidence that is true.

Now I am asking for your proof that Trump was an unindicted co-conspirator in the porn star payoff scandal.

PROOF, not conjecture.

President Donald Trump has, for the first time, become an unindicted co-conspirator, analysts said following the release of a sentencing memo on Friday.

Among the details in the memo, which track with reporting on the Stormy Daniels hush-money payoff, is a description of criminal behavior that includes the president, identified as Individual-1 throughout.

“During the campaign, Cohen played a central role in two similar schemes to purchase the rights to stories – each from women who claimed to have had an affair with Individual-1 – so as to suppress the stories and thereby prevent them from influencing the election. With respect to both payments, Cohen acted with the intent to influence the 2016 presidential election. Cohen coordinated his actions with one or more members of the campaign, including through meetings and phone calls, about the fact, nature, and timing of the payments. In particular, and as Cohen himself has now admitted, with respect to both payments, he acted in coordination with and at the direction of Individual-1. As a result of Cohen’s actions, neither woman spoke to the press prior to the election,” the memo reads.

The unindicted co-conspirator in the Oval Office

There is one apparent reason the president of the United States was not indicted Tuesday in the same case that yielded a guilty plea from his longtime personal lawyer. It’s not because prosecutors think he is innocent. It’s because he is president.

The U.S. Justice Department has long taken the position that a sitting president is exempt from indictment. Only after he leaves office are prosecutors free to pursue criminal charges against him. Unless that policy changes, Donald Trump will serve the remainder of his time in office under the specter of prison.

Let that sink in a moment. Prosecutors may postpone his indictment. Congress may refuse to impeach him or convict him. But Americans will be living under the administration of someone who has been implicated in a crime by a close associate — and who they may eventually learn is guilty of one or more felonies. The nation is being governed by an unindicted co-conspirator.

It is you who says things which are obviously not true and then when called on it you fold like a cheap suit. Again, you originally said that Trump was an unindicted co-conspirator in the Mueller investigation. But when asked to give your proof you come up empty.

“During the campaign, Cohen played a central role in two similar schemes to purchase the rights to stories – each from women who claimed to have had an affair with Individual-1 – so as to suppress the stories and thereby prevent them from influencing the election. As a result of Cohen’s actions, neither woman spoke to the press prior to the election,” the memo reads.

Lanny Davis, long time lawyer for the criminals Bill and Hillary Clinton, was Cohen's lawyer and he talked Cohen into pleading guilty to an illegal campaign contribution charge even though that charge cannot be proven in court. If an indictment for that is ever brought against Trump he will win in court easily. Famous Constitutional lawyer Alan Dershowitz said the following:

(Jerry denies everything)

You're just trolling now, tossing out whatever accusation comes into your head. Have a good day, Jerry.

Thanks for reminding us about this. During the primaries, the DNC and the Clinton campaign worked behind the scenes to promote Donald Trump to the news media and entourage them to take his campaign seriously. Hillary actually wanted to run against Trump because she thought he would be easy to beat!

Yes, more and more conservatives are bailing and blaming the democrats for Trump. The rewriting of history begins, joining the "liberals were to blame for segregation" and the "Nixon was a liberal" stories in the paranoid lexicon.

Yes, more and more conservatives are bailing and blaming the democrats for Trump. The rewriting of history begins...

It's true to a certain point though, here are a couple of references:

https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/11/hillary-clinton-2016-donald-trump-214428

https://observer.com/2016/10/wikileaks-reveals-dnc-elevated-trump-to-help-clinton/

Some pertinent quotes:

"According to an email from Marissa Astor, Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook’s assistant, to Clinton campaign chair John Podesta, the campaign knew Trump was going to run, and pushed his legitimacy as a candidate. Clinton’s team drew up a plan to pump Trump up and tell the press to [take him] seriously...senior aides stayed convinced that a race against Trump would be a dream for Clinton...Clinton strategists' initial reaction to Trump’s blaze through the primaries at the time was giddy disbelief."

Team Clinton wanted Trump to run and promoted him from behind the scenes during the primaries on the grounds that he would be one of the easiest of the Republican candidates to beat in the general election.
