I haven't figured out what the name is yet. Though I know Zeke thinks it's our signature I think that too easy to fake to fit the bill as a positive personal identifier.

The Rev was about the horrible things about to happen in Israel in the 1st decades. it says so on the first page. The harlot enjoyed her ride on the beast of Rome for a while until it devoured her, and then the marriage was safe to procede.

That said, we always want to stop totalitarian developments no matter how they come at us. Most of our US colleges are raising totalitarians who won't discuss ideas that differ from PC and need to be 'safe' from them.

If folks are already using any of these methods, then it ain't the mark of the beast.
The mark is for those that choose to worship the beast instead of God.
There is nothing in the methods you have posted that suggest it has anything to do with the worship of either.

The Rev is not a 'map' to our future. It was a pastoral guide to what the 1st generation Jewish Christians went through.

The church will be harrassed at the end, but the appearance of Christ will fell the enemy quickly. The very long reign of Christ mentioned in the Rev 19, 20 ends with that, as 2 Peter 3 says.

It's their Modernism-driven false autonomy that demands them to be the main audience and focus of scripture written to Believers who were being informed of what would befall them within their own generation.

They deny Christ and the Kingdom and the Church and the Gospel.

To be more practical, we don't want to go down the road of who is saved or not, anymore than we would change the wording of Acts 21:20 and say that those Jews who believed were not zealous for the law. There are number of really impractical, irrational results that take place when a person thinks the Bible has 2P2P or a restored Judaistic theocracy in it, not to mention red-hot conflict with Islam which completely obstructs evangelism.

Fair enough. It's supposed to jolt them into examining the false Hermeneutics caused by their fallacious Eschatology. They SHOULD be able to see it's not viable for salvific faith.
