Republicans cancel Liz Cheney

Cheney argued in the speech that she is a conservative, in a swipe at Trump's congressional allies who have been pushing for her ouster since her January vote to impeach Trump. Cheney spoke Tuesday evening after members from the House Freedom Caucus, the conservative group that's led the charge for her removal, gave a series of speeches on the House floor railing against cancel culture. As Cheney spoke, the Republican lawmakers mostly cleared out of the chamber, with Republican Rep. Ken Buck of Colorado the sole member who stayed on the floor.

"I am a conservative Republican, and the most conservative of conservative principles is reverence for the rule of law," she said. "The election is over. That is the rule of law. That is our constitutional process. Those who refuse to accept the rulings of our courts are at war with the Constitution."

Cheney is as conservative as you can get. This is a battle between conservatives and conspiracy believers.

Who is surprised by this? This has been the Republican modus operandi for decades. They make a big deal out of getting rid of Cheney, which they should, and replace her with someone even worse. They move the so-called conservative party even further left with Stefanic. When Cruz kept his word on campaign promises the rest of the party called him craze and stupid. Think about that. Honesty was denounced as stupidity and as crazy. That's the Republican party as a whole. No different than the Democrats.

Anyone who trusts the Republican party as a whole has not been paying attention for a long time. They are just the controlled opposition of the uniparty swamp. They have gotten together with the Democrats time after time to push the entire country further into totalitarianism.

Here's one example. During the entire uproar about the Kavanaugh hearings the Democrats, Republicans, and Trump, got together to authorize the FASAB 56 rules which destroyed any and all financial transparency required by the Constitution so that we the people can know where and how much spending is being done by the government. While the Democrats and press screamed bloody murder about Kavanaugh the Republicans quietly cooperated with the Democrats, and the press completely ignored, FASAB 56 to destroy one of the last vestiges of the Constitution by making all government financial statements a black box and gave themselves the legal authority to lie to the public about all financial matters.

Some simply never learn. I predicted prior to the 2016 election that if trump held the office of POTUS, the GOP would lose all.
