Sorry for the double post.

Let's go back to your claim, that Smith claim was fake.

Well. I may agree with you somehow
But, according to the scripture, how do we supposed to know which one is true and which one is fake?
is there any category we can fellow to guide us?

The Bible says there is one Gospel, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Joseph Smith lived in fairly recent times. There's a lot known about him, so it is easy to be skeptical and critical of him and his ideas. The New Testament authors lived a long time ago, and we know little about them besides what is in their own writings. There is a fog of uncertainty about them, and that is one of the reasons it is more more difficult to dismiss them.

we often hear about Christian's who claim God came to them, God spoke to them. God told them...ect.
how do we know if they are telling the truth or not?

Greetings Oleander,
we often hear about Christian's who claim God came to them, God spoke to them. God told them...ect. how do we know if they are telling the truth or not?
One thing about the Gospel records of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John is that they reveal the unique and profound character and teaching of Jesus. By comparison, could you please reference a portion of the Book of Mormon or other LDS literature that significantly adds to any of the NT teachings? Did Joseph Smith himself shine as a exemplary character, as for example the Apostles John and Peter and the Apostle Paul? Also do you believe the story of the Book of Mormon? Do you accept their concept that Mormons can themselves be baptised again on behalf of a deceased relative, and as a result that relative will be saved. In other words, all the above, and personal contact with some Mormons and their other beliefs has been sufficient for me not to further consider their teachings.

Kind regards
Trevor
