Hi to all and in John 6:44 it reads , N man can come to ME , except the FATHER which hath sent Me DRAW him , and I will raise him up at the LAST DAY !!
#1 The CONTEXT is obvuois , Jesus earthly ministry as the verb COME is in the Greek AORIST TENSE that is pointing to the point of Jesus ministry !!
#2 The 2 verbs YE KNOW and WE KNOW are in the Greek PERFECT TENSE and it means , that from the beginning when Jesus said YE and WE IT IS always in thre CONTINUOUS PRESENT TENSE as long as Jesus continued His ministry !!
#3 And is says that NO MAN come to Jesus UNLESS THE FATHER DRAW him !!
It looks loike that FATHER is picking those who can come to Jesus , so how will you know if ther FATHER has DRAWN YOU ??
#4, So , maybe a Calvinist or a PENTECOSTAL or a COVENANT TYPE can explain how to approach Jesus ??
#5 , And then , when will you be RAISED UP ?
#6 What is that LAST DAY , mean ??
Is the LAST DAY when Israel is saved ?
Maybe it means the DEPARTURE ?
Where are those followers of JESUS , NOW ??
