Greetings all,

Flowing back to the original inquiry of the thread.......... ...................it appears clear that Jesus as Son of God is expressed and incarnated on earth as making himself known as the Son of God....and even more so as the Son of Man.
Therefore Jesus as embodied as the Son of Man(Adam) IS the Son of God.....for God is the Father of All. Jesus as the Christ is the Anointed of God. The Messiah is of the seed of David......born of of the lineage of Adam. Let us not forget that Jesus, the Messiah was born a man - very human of very human. (hehe - a little creedese for ya).

So what makes Jesus more divine than us? Well........in NT christology....we have Jesus existing as co-eternal with the Father as God the Son.....if we hold traditionally to the Trinity. So this way the Son was always God. This aspect of God was incarnated and apeared as the Man Jesus.

I hold more to the Logos theorem.....with a more greek philosophic mind......as the Logos is the divine thought, ideal, logic, ratio, creative principle, intelligence of the Father. In this way.....the Logos was manifested within the person of Jesus in an unprecendented way....as no time before - therefore the Logos was manifested in the Christ....in fullness and perfection.
Jesus embodied the noblest human traits and the highest most pure spiritual virtues and powers of the Logos as manifesting in the being of a Man. So....our Lord Christ is the perfection of humanity and divinity in one person - the Firstborn Son....who alone is 'Unique' and 'Special' in that He embodied and radiated the fullness of the Logos within his humanity.

So to worship Christ as the anointed Son of Man is correct.
To worship Christ as the anointed Son of God is correct.
To worship Christ (the divine Mind, logic, expressed intelligence, Spirit-principle, Logos) of the Father is correct.

Since Jesus is the outshining perfection of Man and God in one Person.....surely he is magnified above all others in preeminence and the heirarchy of sonship amid all the human sons of God.

Therefore indeed to woship Christ is to worship the highest of the divine reality/presence in Man and God - in ALL!
