Christ in Us or Christ in Heaven?

The Bible says that Christ is in us by the Holy Spirit, but it also says that Christ is in heaven as our advocate and mediator, Hebrews 8:6. If Paul would have known that the Catholic church was going to use those passages of "Christ in us" to produce a holiness religion he would have written the epistles differently.

The work of the Holy Spirit is not the same as the work of Christ, to confuse the work of the Holy Spirit with the work of Christ is heresy. When Jesus died on the cross he said, "It is finished" What he meant by that is that he had completed all that was necessary for the salvation of fallen man. In our name and on our behalf he fulfilled God's Holy Law, Matthew 5:18. In our name and on our behalf, he atoned for our sins and the sins of the whole world, 1 John 2:2. All of this was for our justification by a real flesh and blood Jesus, not a Spirit, Romans 3:26.

The Holy Spirit or "Christ in us" does not justify us. We are not justified by the Holy Spirit, we are justified by the real flesh and blood Jesus. Catholics believe that they are justified by the Holy Spirit or "Christ in them". The reason that they take the sacraments which represents the flesh and blood of Jesus is to get more of Jesus in them so that they can become more and more holier.

Our position before God is that we are sinners, this is why Paul wrote Romans 7:18-20. We are saved sinners, but we are still sinners. We all fail to keep God's Holy Law, sin is a transgression of the law. "Christ in us" does not make us holy. The Holy Spirit is our comforter, teacher and keeper, John 16:13 also John 15:26. But it is not our savior or justifier.

So you're a Hebrew?

So you're a mind-reader?

I believe that you mean well, but your understanding of scripture is very poor to say the least.

The confusion of the trinity is a very common heresy today.

The Biblical emphasis is...

The Father remains in heaven.

The Son comes into the world as the savior.

The Holy Spirit glorifies the work of the Son and works in the life of the believer.

They are all present in each other, but their works are different.

TO BE IN CHRIST----OR-----CHRIST IN YOU
To be in Christ is to be in the revelations of Jesus Christ. One has to go through the three years of the milk understanding and eleven years of the meat understanding following the Holy Spirit and purging(doing the works) their carnality and then receive the revelations of Jesus Christ and walk according to them. There is a truth in Christ that no one else can know. And only Christ can reveal it to you. And He reveals it to you through the revelations of Jesus Christ.

In Christ

I Jn 2:4-5
4 He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
Gal 6:2-5
2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
3 For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
4 But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
5 For each one shall bear his own load.
Col 2:5-7
5 For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.
6 As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,
7 rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
2 Cor 5:17
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Rom 8:1-2
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
John 15:16-20
16 "You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
17 "These things I command you, that you love one another.
18 "If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
19 "If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
20 "Remember the word that I said to you, 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.
Rom 8:38-39
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,
39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Rom 9:1
1 I tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit,
1 Cor 3:1-3
1 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ.
2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able;
3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?
John 14:25
25 "These things I have spoken to you while being present with you.
John 14:28-30
28 "You have heard Me say to you, 'I am going away and coming back to you.' If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, 'I am going to the Father,' for My Father is greater than I.
29 "And now I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe.
30 "I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.
John 14:15
15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments.
John 14:21
21 "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him."
Rom 16:24-27
24 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
25 Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began
26 but now has been made manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures has been made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for obedience to the faith--
27 to God, alone wise, be glory through Jesus Christ forever. Amen.
1 Cor 1:4-9
4 I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus,
5 that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge,
6 even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you,
7 so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ,
8 who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Cor 1:30-31
30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God-- and righteousness and sanctification and redemption--
31 that, as it is written, "He who glories, let him glory in the Lord."
Gal 2:20-21
20 "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
21 "I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain."
Gal 5:24-25
24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
1 Cor 1:2-7
2 To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
4 I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus,

stood a Lamb as it had been slain,
having seven horns and seven eyes,
which are the seven Spirits of God

The same thing it meant to whom wrote it.

It is very difficult to carry on a conversation with someone that answers a question like that.

The apostle John wrote that on the island of Patmos. The book of Revelation is a little difficult to understand because John was trying to interpret his visions. He was seeing things that were not of this world. Revelation 5:5-14, is about opening a book and loosening things that have been sealed. Revelation 5:9 tells us that Jesus was the only one worthy to open the book and loose the seals.
