Anyone know of or like alternative Christian music with an unusual sound?

Hi,

just wondering if there are any music listeners out there who like or are interested in groups who are Christian, whether or not it comes out in their music every time. I like to look for such groups rather than listen to secular groups or groups with other world views. Of course just because a group calls themselves Christian does not mean the members or those who publish them have the truth and are in Christ.

I especially like folk or alternative ones with a unique style and sound who play less common instruments and have themes and song titles that are not just about romantic love.

The musicians/artists in that video are very good. I guess personally though if I go for Jazz or Gospel I often go for something more melancholy.

Some of the groups/artists I've listened to are Sandra McCracken, JJ Heller, John van Deusen's solo stuff, The Innocence Mission, Rivers and Robots. I like some of Fireflight's stuff, though they're basically hard rock, and I've liked some rap/pop crossover tracks, like Lecrae has done with Britt Nicole and Tori Kelly. I'd like to find some Celtic folk artists that are authentically Christian especially if they have some original songs.

Sometimes I will only really like one or two songs from a group so I am always interested in what songs other people think are really special.
