      Like a T-Bird?

When my husband and I were first engaged and I was still in high school, we cruised around in his brand new 1957 Baby-Blue and White T-Bird!

Were we the talk of the town!!!

And now we are considered the most stupid for not keeping it . . . but isn't that the lesson of life and the sad result of not being able to know the future?

Yes. I played in a local punk band for several years. I played guitar and sang. I was awful I'm sure.

Have you ever played a team sport?
I played football as a kid/teenager. In recent years I have coached inline and ice hockey.

Have you ever owned a bird?
No, but I have killed a few.

I don't know... months? Years? Decades? Minutes?

I don't always have a suave Jewish man as my avatar, but when I do...

Exactly. One of the reasons I like the feature, too. On a forum of mine I used to have to manually re-size these objectionable oversized pixs to prevent oversizing the web page. Now I can simply add the spoiler tags to keep the page under control.

One rarely gets that kind of set-up.

Very interesting but don't kill birds. Ice hockey is a tough sport.

                            Heh!

Hubby watches the car auctions all the time and has seen T-Birds like the one we owned, sell for 100K+

We just plain blew it for not keeping the one we had . . .

Plus, the very next car we bought was a new 1959 Corvette, which we also later were forced to sell, due to my pregnancy which precluded my fitting behind the steering wheel!

                              And hear this sorry tale:

A friend of ours had an original stock Cobra that we could have bought for $10K in the 60's, but we did not have that kind of cash at the time.

Oh well, material things do not count for much! Do they?

Why is it that on occasion when I log in as soon as I click a link to go into a thread, or to my User CP, everything gets marked as read and I lose my place [cookies]?

It happened the last time I logged in, and at least two or three times previous.
