The Grace Alternative is the distinction between Israel's Prophesied Grace, and the Body's Mystery Grace, and how each works specifically, within each's respective distinction.

On the following great site, in the section near the bottom, you'll find a basic intro to the Grace Alternative, followed by several articles below it that go into some of its distinctions:

On the site we read the following about Peter's first epistle:

Peter writes to them about the hope that they have because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead; there will be salvation for those who endure until the end.

The author betrays an ignorance of the things in regard to "salvation."

He puts the salvation of those to whom the first epistles of Peter were addressed in the future.

But they were already redeemed by the blood of the Lord Jesus:

" Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot" (1 Pet.1:18-19).

The author of the site is so far out in left field that he thinks that a person can be redeemed by the blood of the Lord Jesus but not be saved.

The author is obviously without a clue and anyone who would believe what he says is a fool.

yep it's the difference between not understanding to tap your knees to turn a cutting horse and when to see that the horse has learned to react to the calve and having it cut out from under you,,,the precious blood of the cross is the saddle horn to hold on too,,,

Coming from Jerry; one of those most off-base know it alls on many of these things I have ever encountered, his above is not saying much. Not to mention that Jerry often reads things into other's words at a level of incompetence only a dim wit would so often exhibit.

Add to this, the jerk actually scours the various sites and or threads/subjects posted for what he might vomit his fool nonsense against.
