Dude, it's a joke. I don't care how poor you are with punctuation. It's hardly an obsession. You're just incapable of taking criticism despite how often you dish it. "Try another forum". Why, are your feelings hurt?

CLEARLY you don't know what it means to be reconciled to God. Sin created an enmity between God and man. Before that enmity could be appeased, Christ had to DIE. We are reconciled by His death.

Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.​

Reconciled by His death....Christ Jesus paid the price for sin by shedding His blood on the cross. You're falsely claiming we are reconciled and saved by the life He lived here on earth. Neither is true.

God is willing to make peace with those who believe, which is why we are told to BE RECONCILED. God reaches down and man must reach up. Reconciliation requires TWO parties, or peace is not made. If you keep throwing words like "reconciliation" around, you should at least know what they mean.

Reconciled by HIS DEATH and MUCH MORE, we shall be saved by His LIFE. That is speaking of His resurrected life. Which is why the Gospel is believing in the death, burial, and RESURRECTION of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I beseech you, in Christ's stead, "Be ye reconciled to God."

2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.​

By the way, it clearly says in the verse that you have quoted that God set Christ Jesus forth. So if God set Christ Jesus forth, then Jesus isn't God!

I'd be happy to boost anyone back up based on the quality of their posts, rather than my contempt for their overall character.

If you give out more than a few neg reps a day and follow specific posters around to neg rep them, why do you do this? Don't you find it a bit petty?

Maybe thats why some are leaving and going into other forums? :) - I've noticed this too from particular individuals, - it would be best if they dished out their comments in an actual 'discussion' or 'debate', of which I'd be happy to engage, but some prefer a more 'stinger in the back' approach. (cowardly perhaps?)

Then again some may find my vast archive of knowledge, wit and eclectic parlance a bit too imtimidating to take on, since I hold my own quite well ;) (joke folks) - frankly, if you want respect, you have to give it, and some kindness and civility go along way, regardless of what your religious belief maybe. I see alot of theology making people bitter, warped and spiteful specimens, a true pity (better check the kool-aid you're drinking). - at which point maybe 'religion' is best abandoned, at least that perverted form, for something better.

All points of view, opinions, concepts and belief are subject to change,...life goes on, it evolves, adapts, expands, transforms. - if your mind is grid-locked in dogma, let the Spirit set you free :)

Any gesture to inflict harm is a sign of some discontent, self-contempt, agression, fear or wrongful thinking going on in one's own conscience promoting a 'strike' or ill intent to demean, deflect, marginalize or defame another. It is most impoortant in what manner and 'spirit' we treat others, for there is ancient saying that to 'greive' the spirit of your brother is one of the greatest sins, because it is very close to grieving the Spirit of God (we are made/created in God's image/likeness). So it is the manner, intent and spirit in which treat others that 'God' observes as most essential, and a good opportunity to examine ourselves if we are truly acting in faith, with LOVE. - if its not from love, it is either from one's own sick soul or wounded spirit, or some other dark nefarious source (human or demonic).

Recall when Jesus had to check his disciples when they wanted to rain down fire upon others,...he said "what spirit are ye of?" - you can also check his Sermon on the Mount and other teachings on love as well, for with what measure you mete out, it shall be returned to you, and we are 'justified' or 'condemned' by our own words. (we also reap what we sow, seedtime and harvest). We also have the power to forgive others and be ourselves forgiven when our discourse is guided by love and wisdom.

Allow me to submit a possible reason for your Neg-reps. TOL is basically a Conservative Christian Forum. The majority of posters that frequent this forum, really don't have a hearty respect for: Atheists, agnostics, far-left zealots, communists, socialists, occultists, various cult members, metaphysics, and UFO cultists such as yourself and Caino. So, if one doesn't adhere to Christian ideology and Conservative values, they're probably not gonna feel at home on TOL.

To be honest with you, I don't suffer ignorant posters, well. If I deem a poster as being woefully ignorant in certain areas, I have a tendency to lose respect for them. Take yourself for instance, I encountered you a while back, and instantly knew you had a propensity for purposeful ignorance. I believe it was due to your lack of desire to learn from someone whose intellect was further advanced than your own.
