I predict big things for you (Jn 3:8).

He's prolly a good choice but he's solidly in a camp if I recall.
Amoung the Christians here we have the Protestants and The Catholics, the Trins and the none Trins, The pre and post Tribs, the Opens and the Closed, the dispensationalists (who will tell you that everyone is one they just have't picked one to defend and their WRONG if they pick one different then them).
The YECs and the OECs
The Pro Choice Christians and the Anti Abortion Atheists.
Patriots and Commies.
Granite believes in an afterlife and one of the UK people doesn't like Mustard?
Who the hell doesn't like mustard?
Who is this heretic who doesn't like mustard?!?

I am going to float Lighthouse's name out there--He's great with computers and will learn the forum software quickly.

There are a lot of good-hearted, fair-minded, even-handed folks here on TOL.

I don't want to speak any (many) names, because it isn't becoming of a gentleman to do so, in my opinion. There are too many to whom I take a great liking.

You know who you are.

G-d bless you, my dear friends.

I love mustard. I don't like ketchup. I suppose that's another kind of heresy.
Can't stand ketchup, Dijon mustard or Miracle Whip. Too sweet. I like the plain yellow mustard.

I guess we could always base the decision of the moderator on his/her choice of mustard.

I put out IK for a moderator.

Wait, what?

She did it before. She made a rash choice, she suffered the consequences, and she learned.

I think she did a mighty fine job of being level-headed and fair to all.

This would be a difficult site to moderate, but I think she did a fair job considering the wide range of folks who visit on a regular basis. There is diversity here. That's what makes it fun and enjoyable. That's what gets us to think and to learn.

We all make mistakes. There ain't one of of us who is without sin.

Thank G-d, Yeshua, our Savior, for taking care of this for us.

There are a great many folks here on TOL that I would be honored to nominate. IK is one, as well as others. I've mentioned my reasons for not selecting previously.

I agree with you ... IK did a decent job as mod.

IMO, Vegas would be a great choice for mod. He is fairly even tempered and not prone to personal vendettas.
