Is this true?

14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Is this true?

19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?

Is your faith made perfect by your works?

Did IP the Genius ever explain why the Passover and Day of Atonement were MONTHS APART?

:idunno:

This is a cache of 2P2P to try to feel victorious without really grasping the issues of Hebrews. don't you notice that in place of the great passages of the NT, 2P2P consists of a string of secret knowledge, usually unexplained, that puts them in the chairman seat, in charge of the vast fields of biblical knowledge. And feeling really good about themselves, but despising feeling good of course, bc that's a sin.

Your topic is not addressed in the NT; that's precisely why you pounce on it.

Fruit or life. that's why the analogy of James: you can't have an inanimate corpse.

What? A good tree cannot produce bad fruit. What are you talking about? Do you not understand James? Is your master Satan moving you to misdirection? Because he knows, unlike you, that Paul mocked the notion that works can be added to faith. Because there are two distinct churches after Acts 9.

I guess you don't know your bible:

"as the body without the spirit is dead..." The body is the claim to believe; the spirit are one's actions thta prove that claim.

If you are having trouble with attention or concentration, there is medicine or nutritional supplements you can get.

If you really know James, you know that that line is the punchline of faith vs works. I just don't think you know your bible at all, which is why 2P2P exists--to make people 'feel' like they know it when all they know are about 8 handy verses.

2P2P seems to have a 'vision' problem: after you talk to them for a while, everything is double. There is no unity of the bible because it is actually 2 bibles, gospels, peoples, churches, faiths, baptisms, etc. Not at all like Eph 4.

It never matters in the NT;

:chuckle:

Has it occurred to you that the first four feast days were fulfilled in order?

Passover- the LORD's death
Unleavened Bread- Burial
First Fruits-Resurrection
Pentecost-pouring out of Spirit

What about the last three?

Trumpets
Day of Atonement
Tabernacles

No, you will not answer, you are woefully ignorant, and this was never mentioned in the 387 dusty books of men on your bookshelf.

The NT doesn't refer to all of these, but what matters to it is the fulfillment of the promises. You don't have anything 'cornered.'

Obviously in 2P2P, you find something other than what the NT says and major on that.
