ECT Great parody on Pharisee literalism

I recently heard one Christian speaker refer to the 'Bruised and Bleeding Pharisees.' Here's what he meant. They thought (this is fiction) that when Jesus said you are in adultery with a woman if you look on her to lust, that they better put on eye or face coverings to prevent this. The problem was they kept running into walls and trees and buildings, and their faces became bruised and bleeding.

Fictional, and humorous, but it does show what happens to literalism... and who is inclined that direction.
