ECT Forgiving and Forgiveness

Jesus said that forgiveness is reciprocal and to the extent we forgive others we ourselves are forgiven.

This is the grace of God as I put the spin on it. I would gladly offer many scriptural proofs of this grace as taught by Jesus, but I might find myself again "on alert" for being characterized as blasphemous and disruptive.

It is always puzzling and curious to me why scriptural evidence I offer fails to even register to most of the posters on TOL.

Perhaps, you're using the wrong Scripture and it's out of context?

Based on my own experience, it is often difficult to engage in the necessary hermeneutics to find out what a particular passage meant to its original authors and audiences.

We often take a lazy approach and interpret a verse or a passage through our own post-modern lens.

Unfortunately, it's just easier to do.

Perhaps, you ought to pray for wisdom and knowledge before opening
the Scriptures? The Bible is a Spiritual Book. You ought to start reading/
studying the writings of Paul? Maybe you'll find out you were never
saved to begin with? Best you find out now! After you leave this
world it's too late. Then, the judgement.

Every thing I say is scripture.

All are One when they come to Jesus with faith and obedience.

Romans 11:32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.

Nothing you say about the consistency of the nature of God is truth.
