Mixing Law & Grace

Where does our faith come from? Our faith comes from HEARING the word, see Romans 10:17. From hearing the word and being TAUGHT, Colossians 1:5, 7. From continuing in what we have been CONVINCED of, see 2 Timothy 3:14, and being PERSUADED, 2 Corinthians 5:11.

We are saved in a very human way...hearing, being taught, persuaded... convinced...

There is no such scripture or teaching from God that says He saves unbelievers and causes them to believe without their knowing or wanting.

Faith is from God, from reading His powerful message, the Bible, the New Testament. It has the powerful message that saves. We do not get faith supernaturally, as many teach, but we get faith in a very human way, from reading and obeying the supernatural message!

Sure God saves unbelievers for He has mercy on them because of unbeiief Rom 11:32

32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

A lost person cannot believe or obey the Gospel because it's hidden from them. 2 Cor 4:3

3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

Jesus cleans us now, just by our having faith that his blood cleans us.

Think how wonderful that is.

We don't have to purify ourselves anymore day after day, but we still have to not murder, commit adultery, etc.

If anyone does sin, now they can just ask for forgiveness and work on not sinning.

Can you not understand what Paul actually said?:

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" (Eph.2:8-9).

Salvation is by grace through faith. You deny Paul's words by saying that faith is not enough.

3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

Let us look at what Paul wrote:

"But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them" (2 Cor.4:3-4).

Satan has blinded the minds of those who are lost for one reason: "lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."

If the lost are unable to see the light of the gospel on their own then Satan wouldn't have to blind their eyes to the light of the gospel. That means that the lost have the ability to believe the gospel.

No such thing.

God saves believers.

You don't believe scripture! God has mercy on unbelievers Rom 11:32

32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

In fact that word for unbelief is also translated disobedience. It's the greek word apeitheia:

disobedient 3 times. so God saves and has mercy on the disobedient.

I know what Paul wrote that is what I am showing you. Those who are lost the Gospel is hidden from them. So it's necessary to be saved before you can believe the Gospel.

You just like that poster for you believe that a person is not saved unless they first believe. Salvation by the obedience of man so what is the difference?

You misunderstand Paul.
Faith alone is dead.
The not of works is about the purification works.

I have given you many scriptures that say we have to believe. Not one scripture anywhere says God saves unbelievers.

Sure. So you believe that a person is saved because they believe which is an act of obedience the person does. So you believe in Salvation by work just like the person you are critical of !

Hahahaha Here it comes, the fight between you and Jerry to see who obeys God the least. And you both don't have any sense that that is evil?

Jesus: "Believe me...obey me...and you will be saved."

Jerry: "No, Jesus, I will believe only."

Beloved57: "No, Jesus, save me first."
