Beloved, believe not every spirit,
but try the spirits whether they are of God:
because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

1 John 4:1 NASB - Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

dem·i·god

noun

Jesus is not a being with partial or lesser divine status.
Jesus is not a minor deity.

Jesus is the offspring of a god and a mortal, which by definition makes Him a demigod.
Jesus is a mortal raised to divine status but Jesus already had divine status before giving it up to become a mortal, so this does not count.
I do not believe that He is a demigod.
Jesus matches one definition of a demigod, but Jesus is not a demigod.

The offspring of a God and a mortal?
God is the Father of Jesus and Mary (a mortal woman) was the mother.

Luke 1:30-33
30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Divine status before giving it up to become a mortal?
Jesus was divine (in the form of God) before becoming a mortal man.

Philippians 2:5-8
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Jesus is the only begotten Son of God.

Easy to say, but both of you consider Him as such.

Yes.
No sex, and it was the Holy Spirit.
Easy to say, but both of you consider Him as such.

Huh?
