Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and love for one another and for all Christians identifies authentic Christians(Col 1:4).
The love that is the fruit of the Spirit(Col 1:8).
This love for one another is organically related to the hope of heaven(Col 1:5).
Such love, a growing reality now, belongs to the glory that will be heaven(Col 1:5).
The message of faith,love and hope graciously gifted to us by the Father through Jesus Christ is the authentic gospel message(Col 1:2,6).
This gospel message is the subject taught by the faithful minister of Christ(Col 1:7).
Hearing this gospel message of faith,love and hope is blessed by God the Father(Col 1:2,6).

Preach the gospel of hope, faith and love to the world.
Begin with the hope that held out in the gospel(Col1:23).

Follow the attractive hope held out in the gospel with faith then love!

The popular presentation of the gospel today begins with 'God loves you' then 'Jesus died for your sins' and then 'Put your faith in Jesus'.

Begin with the hope (Col1:23)!
Then faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Those who desire the hope and believe in Christ (Rom10:8-10) will know that God loves them.

Until anyone truly believes in Christ(Rom10:8-10) no-one knows if God loves them.
To say 'God loves you' before authentic conversion to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is misleading and maybe lie.

Exactly who is he, what did He do and accomplish, and for exactly who did he do it for ?

Jesus is Lord! He is God the Son (Col1:15-21)

Jesus is the Saviour of his people(Mt1:21).

His people are those given to him by the Father(Jn17:24,6:37-40).

Jesus mission was to do his Father's will.

So, faith in the Lord Jesus Christ means faith in his person and work(Rom10:8-10; 4:24-25).

God Loved us while we were sinners, so that would include everyone.
God's Love is unconditional and not dependent on our believing first.
Godly type Love is forgiving, charity, grace, and mercy, but it is a transaction meaning the receiver has to accept the gift as charity. If the Love is not accepted you do not have God's Love given to you, but it is not because God does not Love you.

God is sovereign, just, holy, righteous. God's love cannot contradict these attributes of God.
If God loves as you say then he would be in contradiction with himself.
Your idea of God's love is impossible!
