Universal Love?

Jesus did not preach or teach that God loves everyone. Jn3:16 is perverted by all who use it to pronounce God loves everyone.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

seems pretty obvious that God isn't all that fond of those who don't believe in His only begotten Son

What you say is true. God isn't fond in the least of all who do not believe in His Son. God does not love those who will be consigned to hell. God has never loved them and to suggest He does or did at some time is blasphemous

Jesus taught us to love everyone, especially those who hate and despise us.

You have not understood the point I am making about God's so called universal love.
The new commandment is to the saints,'love one another as I have loved you'.
The emphasis is on on God's love in the community of the saints!

No human is currently consigned to hell. We have not yet judged the world.

The Most High judges no humans. He has deferred judgment to the Son.

Humans will be consigned to hell; conscious eternal punishment. The Son and the father's judgement are in full agreement.

Jesus taught us to love everyone, especially those who hate and despise us.

Paul also said that the love Christ has for His church is expressed in the bonds of marriage (Ephesians 4:28-32). If we say that Christ's love is universal, then we must force Paul to say that the love Christ has for the church is identical to the love He has for every unsaved individual. And since Paul also says that believers shouldn't be marrying unbelievers, then it should be obvious that the love God has for believers is NOT the same as the love God has for everyone generally. Otherwise, we would be justified in reasoning that the believer should be able to marry just anyone of the opposite sex (believer or unbeliever...someone close to them or someone not close to them) since they are to have the same love for every individual.

Yes, God's truth according to His Word is very different to the popular theology of the church and its preachers and congregants.
Out of curiosity and clarification, what is the "popular theology of the church, its preachers and congregants?"

What, haven't you read John 3:18-19?

“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. - John 3:18-19 http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John3:18-19&version=NKJV

Well God loves everyone, Jesus loves you and died for you, invite Jesus into your heart, priests and their presiding over communion, infant baptism, hell is not real, no-one goes to hell, keep quiet about hell judgement etc

Let's break this down.
1) God loves everyone: No?
2) Jesus loves you and died for you: Is that a 100% no or a yes for some, no for others?
3) Invite Jesus into your heart: No?
4) Priests presiding over communion: No, but non-priests can, or no, no one can?
5) Infant baptism: No?
6) Hell is not real: No?
7) No-one goes to hell: No?
8) Keep quiet about hell judgement: No?
9) etc: ?

Based upon analysis supplied by the NASA Christian Simulator it is determined that you are a Particular Baptist or a Jehovah's Witness, or etc... [emoji16]

The law God through Moses provides presumption of innocence.
The Law of God is the Ten Commandments.

If someone commits a crime, they're guilty the moment they commit the crime. They're only presumed innocent in court until a judge finds them guilty.

A judge finds a person guilty based on credible witnesses to the violation.

Jesus could not convict an adulterous woman because the witnesses went away and did not testify.
