Did Paul ever meet Jesus before he died?
Ananias, a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, says yes.

Acts 9:17 KJV
(17) And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

He as in Jesus before his death on the cross.
Thanks for the clarification.
We are left to speculate. There is no record of Saul meeting Jesus.
Saul lived in Tarsus, but he was taught under Gamaliel. (? Not sure, going by memory)
Could Saul, as a young kid, have listened to Jesus? Perhaps. I doubt it, however. Saul strikes me as a young Middle Eastern boy who was brilliant, yet malleable by the Pharisees to become a radicalized terrorist who would carry out their wishes to control Judaism and the system. He likely didn't know Jesus. If he had, he would have recognized Jesus differently than his threats indicated when he terrorized Christians.
Those are just my ponderings. We really cannot know for sure.
