Biblically, yes.

Matthew 27:33-37 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

The Crucifixion
33 And when they came to a place called Golgotha, which means Place of a Skull, 34 they gave Him wine to drink mixed with gall; and after tasting it, He was unwilling to drink.

35 And when they had crucified Him, they divided up His garments among themselves by casting [a]lots. 36 And sitting down, they began to keep watch over Him there. 37 And above His head they put up the charge against Him which read, “THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.”

Bill Donahue as some videos on this symbolism, one called the crucifixion is in the skull, but you will have to take off the killer blindfold to see the truth. 2Cor 3:6.

The Roman crucifixion site would have had to be east of the Temple.
It is about 600 feet across the Kidron Valley from the City of David
to the spot where crucifixions took place in plain view of the Temple
priests. While Jesus died at 3 PM, the High Priest was cutting the
throat of the Passover lamb at the same time and within plain sight.
As is the case today, there are many tombs just north from there,
at the Mount of Olives and along the same ridge. The crucifixion
site is now covered by Palestinian homes in the village of Silwan.
The area is just now being examined by archeologists.

Note: where it says David's Palace, it should be the Temple. Facing east across Kidron Valley is the Crucifixion:

2Cor 6:15-16, can't take the OT literally Psalms 78:2, Gal 4:24, Hebrews 6:1-5, and walk in the newness of the Spirit Romans 7:6, while mixing old wine with new in your Spiritual container Acts 17:24, if you do you will be walking a crooked path always looking for another to come from the outside Matt 11:3, that results in Matt 11:11, 2Cor 5:16.
The letter is a covering/skin of the non observable spiritual meat buried in it until you rightly cut/divide it, 2Cor 3:6, Matt 9:17, Luke 17:21, 1Cor 3:16, Acts 7:48, Luke 5:39, Romans 2:29.
