THERE ARE TWO GODS

-John 1:1 says there are 2 Gods.

- I am getting tired of you guys not reading your bible.

- First you say that there are 3 Gods in the Trinity

and it shows plainly that the so-called Third person

is the MIND of Christ as it states in the Bible.

Jesus has a Throne and the Father has a Throne
but none for the Comforter

The Comforter seems to be GREATER than the Father and Son
because you will not be forgiven if you blaspheme it.

The Comforter is a Combination of the Father's spirit and
the Son's spirit and therefore, if you Blaspheme it ,
you are Blaspheming both of them.

-----------------------------------------------------------

- Then the Jewish guys say that the LORD GOD is One

and have NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME.

-Jesus said that HE WAS THE LORD GOD OF THE OLD TESTAMENT

which the Bible backs up with scriptures in Hebrews 9 as the

Testator who changed things by dying.

-Jesus said that he came to Reveal God the Father to them.

-Jesus Prayed to the Father, the One True God in Heaven
while the other God, JESUS was on the Earth.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Therefore, it is obvious that there are only 2 Gods.

YHWH is the name of the most high God.

All things were made through Him and without Him nothing was made that was made. (John 1:3 NKJV)

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. (Colossians 1:16 NKJV)

This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens. (Genesis 2:4 NKJV)

The word "LORD" is YHVH, which means self existent. It was he who became the Son of Man.

You know what a stumbling block is right?

The stumbling block was placed there so that people would get tripped up.

There is only one person big enough to place that stumbling block where it is.

It is unmovable.

You cannot go around it.

(The Jehovah's Witness cult changes the wording. You could try that? There are others here who seem to have a license.)

Proverbs 8:22-31

22 The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.

23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.

24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.

25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:

26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:

28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:

29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

31 Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

And He has witnesses !!!

Bs"d

And those witnesses they are the Jews!!

"But now, this is what Y-H-W-H says—
he who created you, Jacob,
he who formed you, Israel:
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
2
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
3
For I am Y-H-W-H your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
I give Egypt for your ransom,
Cush[a] and Seba in your stead.
4
Since you are precious and honored in my sight,
and because I love you,
I will give people in exchange for you,
nations in exchange for your life.
5
Do not be afraid, for I am with you;
I will bring your children from the east
and gather you from the west.
6
I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’
and to the south, ‘Do not hold them back.’
Bring my sons from afar
and my daughters from the ends of the earth—
7
everyone who is called by my name,
whom I created for my glory,
whom I formed and made.”

8
Lead out those who have eyes but are blind,
who have ears but are deaf.
9
All the nations gather together
and the peoples assemble.
Which of their gods foretold this
and proclaimed to us the former things?
Let them bring in their witnesses to prove they were right,
so that others may hear and say, “It is true.”
10
You are my witnesses,” declares Y-H-W-H,
“and my servant whom I have chosen,
so that you may know and believe me
and understand that I am he.
Before me no god was formed,
nor will there be one after me.
11
I, even I, am Y-H-W-H,
and apart from me there is no savior."
Isaiah 43

“But now listen, Jacob, my servant,
Israel, whom I have chosen.
2
This is what Y-H-W-H says—
he who made you, who formed you in the womb,
and who will help you:
Do not be afraid, Jacob, my servant,
Jeshurun,[a] whom I have chosen.
3
For I will pour water on the thirsty land,
and streams on the dry ground;
I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring,
and my blessing on your descendants.
4
They will spring up like grass in a meadow,
like poplar trees by flowing streams.
5
Some will say, ‘I belong to Y-H-W-H’;
others will call themselves by the name of Jacob;
still others will write on their hand, ‘Y-H-W-H’s,’
and will take the name Israel.
6
“This is what Y-H-W-H says—
Israel’s King and Redeemer, Y-H-W-H Almighty:
I am the first and I am the last;
apart from me there is no God.
7
Who then is like me? Let him proclaim it.
Let him declare and lay out before me
what has happened since I established my ancient people,
and what is yet to come—
yes, let them foretell what will come.
8
Do not tremble, do not be afraid.
Did I not proclaim this and foretell it long ago?
You are my witnesses. Is there any God besides me?
No, there is no other Rock; I know not one.”
Isaiah 44

Hey Keypurr! :thumb:

All things were made through Him and without Him nothing was made that was made. (John 1:3 NKJV)

Are you suggesting that Col 1:16a is calling the Son the Creator because of the word "by" in that particular rendering? The actual wording is "en" which means "in" or sometimes "with" but does not make the Son out to be the Creator. It is more like the first passage you quoted which properly says "through", (in that passage it is "dia" which is the channel of an action) and the same is what is rendered "through" in the second portion of Col 1:16 here. The Son, who is the Word, is not the SOURCE of Creative power but rather the CHANNEL of the Creative power of the Father. The ASV gives a better reading of the passage you quoted as it renders "en" more appropriately as "in", as it says, "for in him", (by way of him) were all things created:

Colossians 1:13-16 ASV
13. who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love;
14. in [en] whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins:

15. who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;
16. for in [en] him were all things created, in [en] the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through [dia] him, and unto him;

As for the Son of man he was before a little lower than the angels because every word of YHWH is tried, tested, and true, however all of what we have written was written by man, and therefore he is the Son of man. Testimonies and doctrines are also like sons and daughters in the kingdom, (likewise are spiritual seed and offspring, whether an elohim seed which is godly, which Elohim seeks; or whether for the evil, as in the tares of the field). :)

Bs"d

If man is, like you say, made up of body, soul, and spirit, than man is not one, but three.

God is not made up of body soul and spririt, but GOD IS ONE.

That's what the whole Bible teaches, both the holy Tanach, and the NT, see HERE.

This is the likeness that is mentioned in Genesis. Let Us make man in Our image after Our likeness. The image was in created holiness and the likeness is triune.

For the "US", look HERE.
