1 Peter was written to the Church of God in Christ. Peter was a minister of the Church Christ is the head of Matt 16:18


18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

In the Eternal Purpose of God Eph. 3:11, a Seed was Chosen of the Father, to be In Union with Christ His Son from Everlasting; that they be forever Holy and without blame before Him in Love: Hence Grace was given this Seed before the beginning of Time, or before the World began; and before they were born or knew anything about Him or performed any works on their part, whether good or bad !

Rom. 9:11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth.

Paul taught the truth and that is let NO ONE judge you according to what you eat and according to a special day, INCLUDING A SABBATH.

The BIBLE SAYS YOU have FALLEN FROM GRACE and are a BITTER ROOT.

Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

Hebrews 12:15 See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.

He's always been head of His Body the Church, that's part of the Mystery. He has always been Savour of His Body! What does Col 1 say?

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

The body of Christ was unknown by man until God revealed it to Paul. Paul was its first member. Paul is the PATTERN for the body of Christ.

Israel is not the body of Christ and the body of Christ is not Israel.
