FORGIVENESS FOR THE NATION

Leviticus 4:13 And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;

4:14 When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.

10:17 Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, seeing it is most holy, and God hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the LORD?

16:17 And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.

16:33 And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement for the priests, and for all the people of the congregation.

In the above verses from Leviticus it can be seen that God made atonement for the sins of the congregation of Israel. This atonement is separate from individual atonement, it is a national atonement.

It is the nation that is in view when Christ returns to establish his earthly kingdom and the new covenant, in which, the sins of Israel will be forgiven (Romans 11:27 Hebrews 8:12 Jeremiah 31:34 Acts 3:19).

The national covenant is over with they failed it according to the purpose of God.

That scripture has nothing to do with the nation israel. It's about the Body of Christ!

Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

The house of Israel and Judah is not the body of Christ.

All Israel Will Be Saved

25"I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, 26and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written:

“The deliverer will come from Zion;

he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.

27And this is my covenant with them

when I take away their sins.”

28As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, 29for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. 30Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, 31so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you. 32For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all" (Romans 11:25-32).

Easily. Since the inclusion of the gentiles !

Gentiles had been able to become part of the house of Israel before, but they became Jews, proselytes, to be exact.

Now with the Body of Christ there is no difference between Jew and Gentile, That's quite a difference that you can't just hand-wave away by saying they're the same group of people.

Jews and Gentiles have always been in Israel the Body of Christ. There's no other people to be saved!

So the Body of Christ always existed? Paul lied when he said he was the first in it? Why was there never any use of the phrase "Body of Christ" prior to Paul?
