Who Justifieth the Ungodly

God Justifieth the ungodly.

That is God justifies His Chosen Ones, while they are enemies, and wicked by nature and habit Eph 2:2-3

Theres a couple of reasons for this #1 is because all their wickedness and ungodliness by habit and nature has been imputed or laid to charge upon Christ Isa 53:6

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Amen, and #2 would be, that even when the ungodly Chosen ones were dead in sins, and fulfilling the desires of the flesh and mind Eph. 2:3, and were by nature children of wrath as others, they were already saved by Grace, having been quickened together with Christ and made to sit in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Eph. 2:5-7

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

And another reason why the elect ungodly are justified before God while by nature children of wrath as others, walking in habitual wickedness and enmity towards God, is because not only has their wickedness been charged to Christ, but in addition Christs perfect law keeping obedience has made them righteous. Christs righteousness has been imputed to them Rom 4:6

6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

Rom 5:19

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous[by imputation].

So true, and the Imputed Righteousness by Christ's Obedience alone [plus nothing], in behalf of the ungodly Chosen ones, results in the Holy Spirit making them experientially Righteous in New Birth.

Exactly, and the ones made Righteous by the Obedience of Christ are the only ones which shall be given Spiritual Life.

The objects of Justification are God's Elect, His Election of Grace. Rom 8:33

A great truth of the Justification of God's Elect is that God will not lay anything to their charge Rom 8:33

Yes, and these Justified Elect ones are a tiny remnant of all humanity Rom. 11:5 , whom God Purposed in Christ Eph. 3:11 to have forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His Grace, and an Eternal Inheritance Eph. 1:4-7, 11.

A Great Truth indeed, Brother ! This means that no sin can ever be laid to the account of God's Elect, because according to His Law and Justice, all the sins they would commit in time, have already been laid on Christ Is. 53:6, 10-11 their Surety Heb. 7:22 from Everlasting. So as a result of Christ's Blood Work, they are totally exonerated; Justified , reconciled to God through the Blood of Christ alone, even while being His enemies and unbelievers !

Rom. 5:9-10

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Amen, all the Seed of Israel Is. 42:1; 49:3 which are Justified Is. 45:25 by the Blood of Christ, are the same as the Elect Eph. 1:4; the Seed of Christ, the Seed of Abraham:

Gal. 3:16, 29

16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

They are One and the same People Justified by the Blood of Christ and thus Promised Salvation.

Is 45:17 But Israel [Seed / Body of Christ] shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

Isaiah 45:17 does not apply to the Body of Christ. It is God's dealing with Israel.

Actually, it's we who are of the Truth 2 Thes. 2:13, God's Elect Titus 1:1, that are against replacement.

For God's Elect never have been Abraham's descendants according to the flesh, but prideful jews make that claim.

Natural Israel of the flesh are not the children of God, as Paul clearly stated:

Rom. 9:8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Gal. 4:28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

Rom. 8:14-17

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Who Justifieth the Ungodly

Rom 4:5

But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Rom 5:6

For when we [The elect] were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

These verses tells us something about the elect ! First that by nature we are ungodly, children of wrath as others..Eph 2:3

3Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Amen being children of wrath by nature as others is just another way of saying, that we were ungodly..

But one of the Great Gospel doctrines is described in Rom 4:5 is that God justifieth the ungodly..

Now , get this, The elect are Justified before God. by the obedience and righteousness of Jesus christ [Rom 5: 18-19] while we are dead in

tresspasses and sins, while we are by nature children of wrath even as others, and while by lifestyle, ungodly. While we the elect are in this very sinful condition, that we are Justified by Jesus christ blood and clothed in His imputed righteousness, even though we dont know it at the Time, but God knows it , because He is the one who did it..

Rom 8:33-34

33Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

34Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

You see, most false teachers today think that Rom 8 :33 applies to post conversion, but it also applies to pre conversion, for God Justifieth the ungodly, before they are converted..

Thats why its of grace..Titus 3:7

That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Its by grace because of the sinful condtion we are in by nature when we are Justified before God..

Amen Brother, God's Elect in Christ Eph. 1:4, the Election of Grace, were ungodly as any can be Eph. 2:3. Yet because of Christ's Perfect Obedience in His Life and Death on their behalf Rom. 5:18-19, never came under any condemnation before God's Law and Justice. For in the Mind and Purpose of God they were declared Legally Justified by the Blood of Christ even from Everlasting.

Rom. 5:9-10

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Scripture harmonizing scripture !

1 Cor 2:12-13

12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us [Gods chosen] of God.

13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth;comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Of all books in the history of the world, none save the scriptures are spiritual.

Sure, one does not have to be spiritual to read and even study the bible, but in order to understand it, to the least degree, one must be spiritual or have been given the Spirit which is of God.

The word comparing in 1 Cor 2:13 in the greek is the word:

Sugkrino and means:
 1. to joint together fitly, compound, combine
 2. to interpret
 3. to compare
Its not until we have born of the spirit that we can interpret the scriptures and join together the pieces of truth to the over all puzzle.

With that said, when scripture can be spiritually harmonized and shed light, one part on another part, there is nothing unlawful about that; Now in regards to Rom 4:5 and 5:10

Rom 4:5

5But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Rom 5:10

10For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

There is something interchangeably true about both of these scriptures, and that is being reconciled to God by the death of His Son, while yet being an enemie [by nature] is the same as being Justified by God while being Ungodly.

For one [though this will be denied] cannot be reconciled to God without being Justified as well !

Rom 5:10 can very well read without violation or wresting truth Rom 5:10

10For if, when we were ungodly, we were justified before God, by the death of his Son, much more, being justified, we shall be saved by his life.

Rom 4:5 can read as well

5But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that reconciled the enemies, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Even the elect, by nature, we are enemies of God, but He does not view us as His enemie, because of Christ death for us. Yes by our actions we are worthy of Him being our enemy, but He is not, but we hate him by nature.

So, even when we the elect, are ungodly, that is by nature at enmity with God, we are Justified before Him Legally , how ? By the Death of His Son.

And, this is what God given Faith comes to believe and realize !

Amen Brother, those two verses [Rom. 4:5 and Rom. 5:10]; provide an excellent illustration of how God's Chosen Elect come to Truth by the Spirit in New Birth; giving them the Spiritual Ability to harmonize scripture with scripture, as Spoken of in 1 Cor. 2:12-13 !
