Obama Implicated in the Witch Hunt

“When they say that Trump is weakening the United States—yes, he is. And that’s why we love him.”

— Karen Shakhnazarov, CEO of Mosfilm Studio and a prominent fixture on Russian state television

He is regarded as an absolute joke in satirical news shows in the UK and with good reason. His gaffes and self important adages are comedy gold in a lot of respects but overall, it's not that funny that such a clown got elected in the first place and that there's still dupes who can't see through his obvious facade.

Now, in fairness and in the interests of fair play we also have less than creditable leaders of respective parties in the UK who also provide lots of unintentional comedy also...Boris Johnson especially...

Eh, it's all a bit of a joke really.

LOL. Barack Obama is going to love this interview his former DIA James Clapper just gave to CNN about the Durham probe: “It’s frankly disconcerting to be investigated for having done... what we were told to do by the president of the United States.”

The Durham investigation now has evidence that implicates Obama in the witch hunt! Happy Halloween, Barack Hussein Obama! You should have known better than to trust a slime-ball like Clapper!

Birds of a feather flock together!
Given all the outrageous excuses, complaints and manoeuvers currently emanating from the Republicans in Congress and the "Trump camp" over the Impeachment hearings, I hope that Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats are keeping a detailed itemized account so that they can respond in-kind to AG Barr and the Durham Investigation with all the cooperation it deserves!

This investigation should be a mercifully short affair, given that in true "Trumpian" fashion Democratic witnesses will systematically ignore Durham's requests and subpoenas!

If they are indicated by a Grand Jury they will not have any choice but to appear in court.

I hope "Jerry Shugart" isn't suggesting that the Democrats are now expected to play by a different set of rules than those that the Republicans have already established for themselves!

Republicans established the precedent of ignoring congressional subpoenas - they should have forseen the consequences of their noncompliance strategy before establishing the Durham Investigation!

It takes a long time to drain a swamp.
The American public are "slow learners," they continue to elect "outsiders" to Washington and the White House in the vain hope that they will somehow "drain the swamp" -- only to be disappointed after 4 years when there is nothing to show for their effort!

Perhaps the most effective President in terms of enacting meaningful legislation was the nation's leading authority on the Washington "swamp" because that's where he spent most of his adult life - President Lyndon B Johnson!

Although dismissed and scorned by the Kennedys and the Washington elite as just another "swamp creature," Johnson possessed the most unique of all political skills - an actual understanding of how the federal government in Washington works and the ability to engage its "power brokers," create bipartisan support and to enact some of America's most significant legislation in the later half of the 20thC.

Like Trump, Johnson wasn't the most gentile of individuals, but what he had that few of America's 45 Presidents possessed was a working knowledge of how to approach those key personalities in Washington and the ability to hammer out an impressive succession of accomplishments - a lost art in 21stC politics!

Major legislation signed
1963: Clean Air Act of 1963[279]
1963: Higher Education Facilities Act of 1963[280][281]

1964: Civil Rights Act of 1964
1964: Urban Mass Transportation Act of 1964
1964: Wilderness Act
1964: Nurse Training Act of 1964[283]
1964: Food Stamp Act of 1964
1964: Economic Opportunity Act
1964: Housing Act of 1964[284]
1965: Higher Education Act of 1965
1965: Older Americans Act
1965: Coinage Act of 1965
1965: Social Security Act of 1965
1965: Voting Rights Act of 1965
1965: Immigration and Nationality Services Act of 1965
1966: Animal Welfare Act of 1966
1966: Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
1967: Age Discrimination in Employment Act[285]
1967: Public Broadcasting Act of 1967

Before Trump could give foreign aid to Ukraine he had to make sure the corruption was no longer happening in that country. It was his duty to see if the corruption concerning Joe and Hunter Biden had not just been swept under the rug.

You must think that Joe should be immune from the scrutiny others receive just because he is trying to be the next Democrat Part's nominee for President in 2020.

No such luck!

So far I haven't seen any evidence which proves that Trump said anything wrong in that phone call. There certainly was no quid pro quo.

This is going to backfire on the Democrats big time!
Apparently EU Ambassador Sondland, a large Trump donor and political appointee, has had an epiphany and changed his testimony to assert that this President was engaging in a "quid pro quo," extorting an investigation of the Bidens in exchange for the $300 million in American military aid that Congress had earmarked for the Ukraine to block Russian aggression!

Apparently even in "The People's Republic of Trump" loyalty has its limits and the EU Ambassador, on the advice of his lawyers, had second thoughts about sharing a cell with his predecessors Paul Manafort and/or Michael Cohen for lying to a congressional committee!

Now that this and other events have effectively undermined each of the "talking points" employed by the White House and the congressional Republicans, Trump surrogates may be forced to adopt the Lindsay Graham "wilful ignorance" defence - refuse to read the transcripts, that they earlier demanded should be released, on the premise that it will insulate them from having to defend the reckless actions of this President!

The thing which Sondland is lacking is any "evidence" that there was a "quid pro quo."

Of course the Democrats are willing to employ the tactics of the Soviets who convicted people for crimes without any evidence. The Democrats did that in regard to their smear job against Kavanaugh!

You people are communist in your heart and the Democrat party is rushing as fast as they can to the first stage of Communism--Socialism. Can you spell?:

W-A-R-R-E-N & S-A-N-D-E-R-S

You people live in a fantasy world and are completely divorced from reality!
