American Commies (Democrats) Want to Cancel Student Debt
Michael S. Rozeff

Some of our home-grown socialists/communists (like Sanders and Warren) want taxpayers to assume the debts of students. Others want taxpayers to pay for 4 years of college for everyone else. Each Democrat has a different “plan”. Each plan is one step closer to a totalitarian society. The “argument” over plans among these thieves is over whom to pay off and whom to steal from. Also, how much to steal and by what means.

On one side are the progressive-socialist-communist-democrats who favor as much big government total control as they can possibly inflict on everyone. On the other side are (or should be) reactionaries who favor strictly limited government (possibly none) and who would look upon dissolving the Constitution and going back to the Articles of Confederation as a great advance in our political system.

Is this the promise that will beat Trump in 2020? Our buddy Bernie and our white Pocahontas seem to think so...

Bernie, since were all such good friends I was wondering if I could use your island house for the weekend? Of course I won’t be paying to use it, you know we’re free.

To call these people "commies " is absolutely idiotic ! This has absolutely nothing to do with communism . Communism means a system of government were the state controls the entire economy, there is no free enterprise, no private corporations, no stock market , the government control agriculture, manufacturing, distribution of goods, service etc . And where there is no free speech , no freedom of religion , the clergy is suppressed , persecuted , imprisoned or executed etc .
How could anyone be stupid enough to believe that democratic politicians who wan tot make college affordable and relieve college students and graduate of the terrible burden placed on them by student loan debt ?
The democrats want to at east make college affordable . Why is it that in Germany and Scandinavia, which are CAPITALIST economies, college and even medical school are free ? Communism my foot !

About all this student debt didn't these people know they had to pay back their loans and that they will likely pay a significant amount in interest? I find it hard to believe that these college students didn't have a clue that they would owe upwards of $100K after they graduated. It's terrible that they have so much debt and I put the blame on the people who pushed these kids to pursue degrees at very expensive university and colleges. Especially pursing degrees that historically do not lead to high paying jobs. This idea that college is the only way to get ahead in life is a terrible message being told to young people.

I, and most of my children, got through college before the huge inflation of tuition costs. This is a huge problem, albeit one that any reasonable person should have seen coming.

it's not just 4-year colleges, either; huge tuition increases for technical schools are the norm. And every time big money is involved, scammers show up. Hence the great increase of for-profit colleges, many poorly accredited or not accredited at all. Our current education secretary was involved in one of those scams, in which she convinced the state of Michigan to go with her new ideas.

She made Detroit schools worse. That's right; her company made them worse. Not surprisingly, when she got to be education secretary, she didn't forget where she came from...

Investigations Into For-Profit College Abuses Dismantled Under Betsy DeVos
May 15, 2018 update: Newly released documents obtained by Democracy Now suggest that former for-profit college official Robert Eitel -- now senior advisor to Education Department Secretary Betsy DeVos -- played a direct role in rolling back a rule designed to protect students defrauded by Eitel's former institution and other for-profit colleges. Eitel formerly worked for Bridgepoint Education, which in 2016 had to pay back tens of millions of dollars to students who were victims of deceptive loan practices. The documents appear to contradict the Education Department's assertion that former for-profit college officials hired by DeVos for top positions have not influenced department policy.

The Department of Education “has effectively killed investigations” into possible fraud at several prominent for-profit colleges, according to the New York Times.

These for-profit colleges, the paper reported, are places where the leading hires of Education Secretary Betsy DeVos used to work.

Investigators at a special team at the Education Department have been reassigned, sidelined or told to concentrate on other work, current and former employees told the Times. The department has been whittled down from more than a dozen to just three people, who have been assigned to paperwork regarding student loan forgiveness.

After WWII, a greatful America provided college at very low prices to the young men coming home. The result? An economy that boomed as they graduated and moved into jobs.

Now we're reversing the process. Not a smart move.

We need something like the GI Bill. Maybe four years of service in uniform, rebuilding infrastructure, in return for college tuition.

If not, we can look forward to continued decline and companies like those DeVoss is backing to continue to defraud students trying to get an education.

I like the idea of college graduates being to work of their college debt through service if they so choose to.

It's a great idea. There's nothing wrong with having to do a few years of service to the country in some fashion. The individual gets an education, and the country prospers from the service and from one more educated person in the workforce.

Because they're commies.
Pray tell , please tell me what is "communist" about Germany, the Scandinavian countries ? Do they persecute Christians ? Hell no ! Or followers of other religions ? Do they keep their citizens prisoners in their own countries ? Haven't you seen or European tourists in America? Or met Europeans who are living in the US ? Give me a break ! You obviously don't even know what communism is .

FWIW, the amount is similar to the unaudited trillions given as bailouts to Wall Street bankers.

Spending money the government does not have is a democrat specialty. Taxes are high. Inflation is high. The economy is struggling. Personal wealth is diminishing. And the US is in serious danger of defaulting on its debt, yet the democrats spend money the government does not have like it is dirt dug up in the yard. The US credit rating was lowered once under Obama, and it will no doubt be seriously lowered again once all the bills become finally and unsustainably due that our politicians have been racking up with no plan of repayment.

Biden seems oblivious to the dangers of his out-of-control spending policies.

Since becoming president in January, Biden has cancelled more than $2.8 billion of student loans, including another big announcement for student loan cancellation today:
Biden cancelled $1 billion of student loans for 72,000 student loan borrowers.
Biden cancelled another $1.3 billion of student loans for 41,000 borrowers with total and permanent disability.
Biden granted student loan relief for 1.1 million student loan borrowers who defaulted on their FFELP Loans.
Today, Biden cancelled $500 million of student loan debt for 18,000 student loan borrowers under the borrower defense to student loan repayment rule.

Trump was also oblivious to the dangers of his out-of-control spending policies, so that makes them even:

Democrats under Pelosi exploded the national debt under Trump so deluded leftist democrat cultists stupidly think that justifies the democrats under Pelosi doubly exploding the debt under Biden.

Cancellation of debt is a Judeo-Christian principle! What isn’t is when the cancellation of the debt is born by the transference of that debt to an unsuspecting or unwilling third party.

Jesus paid our debt on the cross, not as an unwilling third party, but as the Son of God.

If we were to instate the Old Testament debt rules, the likelihood of anyone taking on more debt than they can handle would drop precipitously—because the lenders would know they would have to forgive the debt if it weren’t paid back, and not just take money from taxpayers to pay for the “forgiven” debt.

Politicians who raise taxes on workers and businesses to get the money they can then use to pay the expenses of their supporters who did not earn the money are not fulfilling any command of God.
