So you asked why and I gave you an answer. If you don't want it don't ask for it.

Many of women who have been sexually assaulted remember all of the details.
Not as a rule, no. Even right after the assault. Trauma does things to memory. Stop just saying things that suit your narrative.

Here's a link to a Time article written in 2009, entitled Why Rape and Trauma Survivors Have Fragmented and Incomplete Memories. It was written by James Hopper, Ph.D., who instructs investigators, prosecutors, judges and military commanders on the neurobiology of sexual assault, and David Lisak, Ph.D., a forensic consultant, researcher, national trainer and the board president of 1in6.

"A door opens and a police officer is suddenly staring at the wrong end of a gun. In a split second, his brain is hyper-focused on that gun. It is very likely that he will not recall any of the details that were irrelevant to his immediate survival: Did the shooter have a moustache? What color was the shooter’s hair? What was the shooter wearing?

The officer’s reaction is not a result of poor training. It’s his brain reacting to a life-threatening situation just the way it is supposed to—just the way the brain of a rape victim reacts to an assault."

Besides that, her testimony was absolutely destroyed by the fact that none of the people who she said was at the party admit to being there.
Rather, the one friend of hers she recalled, who wasn't told of what happened at the party, who has no reason to recall it decades after the fact, doesn't recall it. In fact, I'd bet most of us have forgotten most of the parties we attended during our high school years that passed without incident so far as we knew. That said, knowing her friend, Ms. Keyser has been clear in stating she believes Dr. Ford's narrative.

The other two would face criminal and civil liability for admitting to Ford's testimony, have vested interests in refuting it. Kavanaugh has denied being there. The other, curiously enough, though named as an accomplice, hasn't matched that denial, and has only said that he has no memory of the party in question.

But since you want to believe Ford so bad you care nothing about those facts.
I supported Kavanaugh's nomination to the Court. You're making things up again.

Rather, you are the one declaring Ford's testimony a lie. I'm the one saying neither of us can know and that I found her testimony in keeping with what should be expected and his similarly compelling on the point of contest. I'm the one looking at facts and recognizing that we just don't have enough to know who is telling the truth.

Like her answer about her fear of flying?
What about it?

"Martin N. Seif, a clinical psychologist, anxiety treatment specialist and one of the founders of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, says Ford's ability to fly despite her fear is "very typical..."People who have a fear of flying can fly -- they fly with difficulty, they fly irregularly," said Seif. "Some people fly with great difficulty, some people fly with a lots of pills and medication. Also some people can fly one day and not another." Link

Like her answer when questioned about if she knew that Grassley had offered to send the investigators anywhere she wished?

It's clear that her lawyers were contacted a number of times. And her response on Sept. 22 was as follows:

“I have asked my lawyers to continue discussions with your staff about the conditions you have proposed. As I am not a lawyer or a Senator, I am relying on them and you to ensure that the Committee will agree to conditions that will allow me to testify in a fair setting that won’t disrupt families and become a media TV show.”

At the hearing she said:

“Well, I was willing—I was hoping that they would come to me, but then I realized that was an unrealistic request. … So that was certainly what I was hoping, was to avoid having to get on an airplane, but I eventually was able to get up the gumption with the help of some friends, and get on the plane.”

Sounds to me like her lawyers weren't as clear as they needed to be and that what she's speaking to are the conditions relating to her testimony being taken. Ultimately she came to them...so?

All you prove is the fact that you will believe anything if it advances your liberal agenda.
I don't have a liberal agenda, I have a rational one, which reading over your continuing misrepresentations strikes me as opposing enough where your position is concerned.

On the plus side, your Cowboys looked like their coaches figured out how to run their offense...for now.

Yup, it's a whole new ball game now. That's why we did it. Don't get me wrong it was a little scary. I voted for Trump in the primaries and the general and felt like I was doing something very risky. Perhaps disastrous. Something that couldn't be undone.
I'm pleased with the results and I might do more things like that in the future.

I was talking to a conservative co-worker before the general election. He said he was going to vote for Hillary and I said "That's a nice safe bet, a known quantity, I had a great time in the 90s, who didn't?"
And then I asked him when was the last time he took all his clothes off and jumped into a snowbank.
He admitted that it had been quite a while if in fact he had ever done that.
So I said to him; "When you're standing in that voting booth if you feel like doing something a little bit crazy vote for Trump".

The seal has been broken. The Politicians belittled the commoner. And he won because they we're belittling us.

Who knew there were so many deplorables?

If you are rational you would know that Ford was lying when she said she had a fear of flying!

Not at all. People, as noted in the article I provided and in a way I reasoned with you prior, overcome all sorts of fears to do things that they perceive as worthwhile. Lots of people fly with some regularity who have to self-medicate, meditate, or distract themselves from a fear of it. People like my wife, whom the live or still camera loves and who appear calm and confident over those media, are often (as is the case for my wife) unsettled by the activity. But if you want to promote a thing that's what you have to work through.

Now I'd imagine it would be harder to do that when the end result of the unpleasant experience would be reliving another and much more unpleasant experience, but Ford managed it anyway.

For conservatives to mention Supreme Court nominations and "Principles of Justice" in the same sentence, after allowing the seat to remain open for over a year, is 100% hypocritical at best!

How do the conservatives reconcile the fact that Neil Gorsuch went through the same process in 2017 without any of the accompanying "allegations" that have surrounded Brett Kavanaugh?

The reality is that conservatives are putting up a brave front, but if they had known then what they know now, Kavanaugh would have never even made it to their short list!

Everything in politics comes with a political price - the price Republicans may have to pay will come next month if independent and/or GOP women voters decide to switch their support to the Democrats or just stay home!

i'm predicting the opposite - that the blatant partisanship will turn off dem voters and energize the rep base

look for a red landslide in three weeks!

The Christian "right" have already received the 2 Supreme Court Justices that they signed on for - why would they continue supporting a President who is dragging down a "slippery slope" that contradicts everything they supposedly represent?

there will be at least one more open slot on the bench in the next six years, maybe more

The Christian right isn't all the Trump supporters.
And maybe they don't think they're being dragged down a slippery slope.
Can you describe what you mean by being dragged down a slippery slope?

"The ends justify the means."
– Niccolò Machiavelli

Are conservatives now claiming that "the ends justify the means" is a Christian teaching or are they now receiving their marching orders from Niccolo Machiavelli?

"let us do evil that good may come."

Um, no. It's more like "Elections have consequences and we won".

Supporting a leader who paid "hush money" to a porn star mere weeks before a Presidential Election, then denying it to the American public, would appear to qualify as placing conservative Christians in an unenviable position on that "slippery slope."

The Apostle Paul has already addressed the moral dilemma in which conservative Christians now find themselves by arguing against that "the ends justifying the means" or "Let us do evil that good may result”

7 ...Someone might argue, “If my falsehood enhances God’s truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?”
8 Why not say—as some slanderously claim that we say—“Let us do evil that good may result”? Their condemnation is just!
