well, it's artie's contention - i just don't see it happening, the way we were positioned at the time and the way the germans would have been
i think a much more likely scenario would have been a europe ruled by the nazis and an america that accepted that and did business with it
much as we did with the soviets and the germans before the war :idunno:

in 42 the german miltary would have been at its peak, and ours would have been just starting to build
and they wouldn't have needed amphibious if they were welcomed in mexico, just troop transports
which they didn't have
